It is offered on a unique "leave it as you would expect to find it" basis with no cost being added to the rental price for an external cleaning agency.**YOU ARE EXPECTED TO CLEAN THE PROPERTY BEFORE YOU VACATE**It's position right on the shorefront of Lamlash Bay and bounded on one side by the Monamore Burn gives guests an unrivalled location to enjoy Arran at its best. The price includes free wi-fi, Sky Movies, Sky Sports, free UK and international landline calls, DVD home cinema system,table tennis table, foosball table and 5ft snooker table. Guests are required to take their own bed linen and towels, or launder any used at the end of their stay.

We had our first holiday together on the Isle of Arran, then a few years later decided to get married on the island. Two years later we bought Doricmorr and have been enjoying time there ever since. We love to introduce new guests nit just to Doricmorr, but also to the magical Isle of Arran. When the last ferry leaves in the evening, all the hassle of normal life is left over on the mainland - time to chillout in Doricmorr!

We had a great short break here. The house is very well-equipped for families with children, with plenty to do on a rainy day (DVDs, board games, table tennis, etc). It's beachside location offers fantastic views. Would definitely recommend it to friends and would return there in the future.

We have always loved the peace and tranquillity of the Isle of Arran. Like many other visitors, we find that although the ferry crossing is less than an hour, it gives us a sense of distance from all the normal hassles on the mainland, and helps us to chill-out like no other place!

The garden at Doricmorr meets the beach approximately 15 feet from the lounges, dining room and master bedroom.

This is a genuine waterfront location - there is nothing between the garden and the beach.


Doricmorr is about ten minutes drive from the ferry port of Brodick on the Isle of Arran. A car is not essential, as all amenities in Lamlash are within ten minutes walk from the house. However, we would recommend taking a car, as there is so much to see all round the island. Cars can be rented (book in advance) at the ferry terminal.


Doricmorr is situated in the small residential hamlet of Cordon, just outside the village of Lamlash, where there are pubs, shops, restaurants, cafes, post office, garage, church, pier, sailing facilities, ferry to Holy Isle.

Lamlash offers visitors a wealth of things to do, including a full range of watersports, diving, golf, tennis courts, putting green, shops, pubs, cafes, garage, church etc.

Without doubt the biggest attraction in Doricmorr is the endless hours spent in the sun lounge just watching the comings and goings in Lamlash Bay. Whether you enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee or a nice full bodied glass of red, the sun lounge will chill you down like you never believed possible. Maybe it's the uninterrupted view across to Holy Isle!
