Guestbook comments from the owner

"We have found this a magical place. We have seen dolphins from the peninsula, sharks at Neist Point, Golden Eagles in Glen Brittle Forest and seal and red deer all over."

"A very well appointed holiday cottage with the additional bonus of a great selection of books, DVD's and board games. The photographs do not do this property justice. The location is superb, although we did experience a fabulous fortnight of near perfect weather. The location is made for those that love the thrill of the outdoors: rock climbing, Munro climbing, mountain biking, sea kayaking and even surfing are all possible from the door of this cottage."

"Amazing location - right at the foot of the Cuillin mountains and 15 mins walk to the beach. Accommodation spot, on clean, comfortable and well equipt. Had a week of sunshine which is quite unbelievable at Easter."

An excellent week - perfect views, extremely well equipped with new pans, oven, etc.

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommend this tranquil location for everything from climbing the Cuillin (which are right in the doorstep) to a leisurely walk on Glenbrittle beach! The excellent views of the Cuillin from the lounge window change by the minute and even on a wet day the cottage is extremely well equipped for a cosy day in. It is in a very quiet location not far from the Fairy Pools and close to the Distillery, Oyster Shed and tiny shop in Carbost. Ideally located for days out to Elgol and its boat trips, Dunvegan and its castle and the Quiraing and the Old Man of Stor.

With now efficient Wifi and its extensive facilities, it is great place to 'work, test and play'!

Beautiful remote location

  • 5 of 5

The property sits in a remote location that has wonderful hiking opportunities. The only shopping is at the campground. That is a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute car ride. The home is well equipped and has 3 bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds. We enjoyed our stay very much.
