Lovely Apartment

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic flat. Me and my partner had a great week in Swanage. We've been coming for many years but the added bonus of this flat made it even better.

It's lovely and clean and spacious and in excellent condition. The welcome pack was very much gratefully received. The location is right in the centre of town and is seconds from the seafront.

Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

High quality accommodation in ideal location.

  • 5 of 5

we based our selves at Below Decks in order to explore the wide range of walking routes in the Purbeck area. After taxing daily walks we were delighted to return to the very well equipped Below Decks to change and recover. The facilities are of a high quality and with such a central location we really felt that we had hit the jackpot with this booking.

There is no doubt that we shall return to Below Decks in the near future.

Below Decks, Swanage

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was in excellent condition on arrival, and an added bonus was the more-than-welcome pack of groceries to get us started. The location right in the centre of town is seconds from the seafront, but surprisingly quiet. Parking space for 2 cars is rare in Swanage, so perfect for us as we were 2 families.

The apartment has been refurbished to a very high standard and everything you need in this modern technological age is there - high speed wifi, smart tv, and an iron! ;-).

We would strongly recommend this property - in fact we've already booked for next year!

Great apartment, great location

  • 5 of 5

We come to Swanage on a regular basis and rented a number of apartments and houses in the area before, 'below decks' has been the best one so far. Our children loved the 'look out' to see what was going on the parade etc The apartment is tastefully furnished, cosy and provided a great base for our stay. Everything is in walking distance beach, shops, crabbing ... Would certainly recommend to other families.

Wow!

  • 5 of 5

As we had 2 children joining us on our luxury stay, it was so convenient that we were a 30 second walk from the beach and arcade! We could get home from a lovely long day out and jump straight in the bath! Thankfully, I can say that the 2 facilities provided inside the main building were perfectly polishe! It was also so convenient having two bathrooms as the boys spent about 2 hours soaking! As you walk out the apartment there is a little shop that sells basic supplies, but again you satisfied our needs with basic supplies for breakfast and coffee. The apartment is so close to the town, which me and my granddaughter occasionally wandered to have a see what was around. Would highly reccomend this accommodation for couples or up to family's with children!

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: We have endeavoured to create a home from home and wish our guests to feel relaxed and rejuvenated by their stay with us. The flat is ideal for families and is set up to cater for them, but also for anyone wishing to have a holiday not dependant on driving. Everything in town is within minutes reach. We don't have sea views, however we do have "hatch windows" to two of the bedrooms where if you are feeling adventurous you can climb onto the window seats and look out to sea. The flat has full gas central heating so can be a cosy hideout in winter as well as summer. One consideration we ask of guests is that as we have a Sani flow system (our water is pumped up into drains higher than the flat) nothing but loo paper goes down the loo. Wet Wipes of any kind are a disaster! Outside: We have a modest patio garden with a picnic bench for sitting out. There is also space to park a dingy and rubber rings etc. There is parking for two cars. Utility Room: Third loo, sink and washing Machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: 100 percent cotton linen and towels are provided for indoor use. (Guests are requested not to use these on the beach etc.) The flat is cleaned either at the end of your stay or weekly; whichever happens first.
