Sofa/pull out bed in living room (suitable for children) and furnished balcony. Boot/ski storage room and laundry room (charges apply). A heated indoor swimming pool with 2 jacuzzi s, sauna and steam rooms, and gym within the complex which are free of charge to use. The village ice-skating rink is on site. Situated in enviable central location , 800m to the nearest ski lift. A regular free shuttle bus to lifts and telecabin runs from the apartments.

Hi, my name is Nickie and along with my husband Jez and our 2 children, we'd like to welcome you to our apartment. We bought our holiday home off plan in 2002 and have had many great ski and summer holidays here! Our children, now 12 and 11 have grown up loving the area and the added bonus of the indoor pool and leisure facilities. We now live in Dubai where my husband is an Airline Captain. I have worked as cabin crew for 21 years and still fly part time from the UK. If we can assist you with any more information regarding your booking, please give us a call!

Notes on accommodation: Les Fermes du Soleil is a development of 5 wood and stone built chalets in traditional architectural style for the region. Set in the heart of the village of Les Carroz. The residence is the winner of the Trip Advisor 2013 'certificate of excellence'. Apartment A107 is a first floor apartment with lift access that comprises of 35m2 of well designed living space to accommodate 5 people, furnished in alpine style with cozy pine clad walls. Made up of 1 double bedroom, 1 bunk bed room, bathroom with bath and shower, separate wc, open plan living/dining room with fully equipped kitchen and a north facing balcony. Outside: Balcony with table and chairs, indoor heated swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms make up part of the complex, with outdoor ice skating rink open during winter season. Utility Room: Communal Laundry room ( charges apply) Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen provided. Weekly cleaning. Pool towels not provided. Other: Balcony with table and chairs. Large hallway cupboard with hanging facilities suitable for coats. Secure ski locker located below the apartment, use of indoor heated swimming pool, health spa etc , laundry room (charges apply)

Nice apartment in a great complex in a good location

Nice apartment with two decent sized bedrooms. The complex has good facilities - good pool with jacuzzis, and a supermarket just round the corner.

The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the main town square with its bars and restaurants. The gondola is a 15 minute walk, but there are a plenty of buses that go from outside the tourist information in the main square.

The town is quiet - perfect for families or for a quiet break.

Perfect for us!

We enjoyed this lovely apartment for just 2 of us for a last minute 5 day ski trip. The bunk room was spare but would have been ideal for 2 children also.

All the info provided by Nicola in advance worked perfectly and we let ourselves in to a lovely clean apartment. The kitchen was well equipped , there was oodles of hot water and a comfy bed. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna etc were great although the jacuzzi was out of order for a couple of days. The apartment was in a great position close to a supermarket less than a minute away for our daily breakfast croissants and all the groceries you could want, and we also enjoyed fresh food from the Tuesday morning market. We hired our skis etc from Skilimanjaro and prebooked on line but there are plenty of ski hire places to choose from in the village. There is a ski locker on site but we also used the ski lockers ( for up to 4 people) at the telecabine ( with warm boot driers) which we shared with friends and can be prebooked on line. The free ski bus line A leaves from just outside the apartments but it goes all round the houses so a good way to see the village, but a short walk to the stop opposite the tourist office is quicker! The trip back is ideal from telecabine to front door! We were very lucky to have great ski conditions and even 2 sunny days! We had ski lessons from ESF with a brilliant instructor ( thanks Nicolas! ). We found eating out on the mountain or in the village was quite expensive so we mixed and matched with home cooking and going out. All in all the apartment was a great find and suited us well. Thank you to Nicola for making it all go so smoothly.

Great apartment and location

The apartment was as expected, clean, tidy, comfortable and central. It is easy to get to the bus and around the village which a supermarket and shops close by. The apartment was warm and cosy, enough space and all the facilities one would need for a short stay. Good facilities in the block with the pool and gym. Will come again.

Lovely clean, homely apartment

Hi Nicola,

Had a fantastic holiday, apartment was great, it was central to amenities,

Warm and cosy, no complaints. Only thing we couldn't find was the kettle.

A short break in Les Carroz

We have stayed in the family friendly resort of Les Carroz on a number of occasions since 2008 and have just returned from a short Pre Christmas break; despite the lack of snow in Les Carroz there was a 3 x daily bus service to Flaine where the pistes were in surprisingly good condition, and, as always the team on the Grand Massif slopes were very friendly and helpful, and worked tirelessly hard to keep the resort open under difficult circumstances..

The Fermes du Soleil is an ideal residence for families; has an excellent clean pool, gym, sauna and treatment room on site which is perfect for adults and children when the weather is against you. Nicola the owner of the apartment could not be more helpful before and during our stay, and when our flights were cancelled on the return and did everything to accommodate us with short notice in a very busy period. Would certainly recommend this apartment and look forwards to returning
