Built in the heart of Kalami in a wonderful setting next to the beach. Both apartments offer offer a high standard of accommodation to families of all ages, who enjoy self-catering holidays. Each apartment consists of 1 x double bedroom and 1 x twin bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The ground floor apartment has a lounge/diner and a spacious private enclosed terrace with sea views. The first floor apartment has 3 private balconies all with sea views. A concrete path leads to the beach which is 10 metres away. Supermarkets, tavernas and shops are easily accessible within 20-30metres. Elia pool bar located is across the road and is open throughout the day offering breakfast, delicious snacks, refreshments and drinks. Use of the pool is free for bar customers. On the top-right of the swimming pool there is a paddling pool, ideal for children.

Gorgeous property in central Kalami

My sister and I are frequent visitors to Kalami and have stayed in a number of properties over the years. We saw The Olive House when it was a derelict house and when we saw that it had been sympathetically renovated we just had to stay there. Wow what a difference. We stayed in the 1st floor apartment. It was just perfect for our week. The décor is very tasteful and the kitchen was more than adequately stocked. The views from the 3 balconies are just gorgeous, particularly when the sun is rising in the mornings. I would highly recommend staying at The Olive House.

The Olive House Kalami

This holiday venue is as good as it gets for two people wanting complete solace from their lives at home. the standard of décor and living arrangements are second to none. If anyone wants a better recommendation in the Mediterranean please contact me, as I know of none having spent my holidays in many villas on the coast of the Med.

Superb Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Olive House in June (Ground floor). It's a beautifully furnished apartment, well set out and with lovely views over the bay - it was super to be able to lie in bed in the morning and see the cruise ships crossing the bay! The location is superb - a short walk through the nearby bar directly onto the beach, and immediately opposite a well stocked mini-market. It's directly on the only road through the village but traffic is very light so that's not a problem. The ground floor apartment has the advantage of a lovely terrace area with comfortable seating and a discrete dining area - although this could do with some added shade from the midday sun. It's a short walk to several tavernas - we particularly liked Tomas's Place, both for the food and the friendly welcome. I must add that the local contact, Angelicki, was lovely and very helpful.

Many thanks for the opportunity to stay for 2 weeks in your home.

We had a fantastic, relaxing time. We ALL enjoying the home luxuries in the house which is set in a perfect location making it very easy to nip to the beach and enjoy a swim or a relaxing drink in Thomas's Tavern!

As always.... Kalami met all our expectation....but your lovely home exceeded ours..

Fabulous Kalami, Fabulous Villa!

Our second visit to Kalami which we loved for its peace and quiet, stunning scenery, facilities and wide selection of good quality local tavernas. Having previously stayed at San Antonio Hotel we were looking for a high standard villa close to the water and in the village to avoid the frustratingly steep slopes at the Hotel and much of the other rental accommodation on the outskirts of the village. We noted the Olive house at our last visit and were lucky enough to book it for this year.

The accommodation is exactly as advertised / expected

- clean

- well kept equipped and maintained

- fab location

- friendly and helpful owner and local contact - Angeliki in sunshine travel was really helpful

What exceeded expectations

- terrace overlooking the beach was just great for evening glass of local wine at 3 euros a bottle

- supermarket was literally 10 yards from the door and had everything required for e entire holiday - even managed to buy fresh croissants and baklava as well as daily fantastically fresh squid and sea bream to cook at villa. Don't be put off by proximity to supermarket as it is small and quiet just like Kalami and the villa itself is very quiet

- well renovated villa that has the modern edge whilst retaining character

- so close to beach and tavernas

- so peaceful and relaxing

- opening the shutters in the morning to let in the sun and the stunning sea view form the bed!

We enjoyed boat trips to nearby bays and tavernas, hiring speed boat, boat trip to Corfu town, the fun of aqua land for the kids, local water sports, and wonderful swimming at the beach.

Needless to say we have rebooked and would whole heartedly recommend the Olive House

beautiful home stunning location with sea views

Totally refurbished apt with all new appliances and furniture.

In great central location with views across the stunning bay of Kalami. Spotlessly clean. Good outside space. WIFI and air con all works well. 3 tavernas and 3 bars within short walking distance. Good selection of restaurants via free boat transfer (Agni bay) or bus up the hill (Dimitris). Kassiopi for somewhere different is only around 15mins drive away.

Will definitely book again.

Location

Having travelled all over the world ,we have visited Kalami for several years and it is the only place we feel compelled to come back to. It is a relaxed family resort with many people choosing to return time and time again. You often hear the resort being nick-named 'come back Kalami!' Everybody in the village is so friendly. We stumbled across this house a few years ago and simply had to buy it and renovate it! It has been fully renovated to a high standard but still manages to keep it's chic coastal feel.
