Modern 7 bedroom / 7 bathroom / 16 bed villa with views of Table Mountain. Borehole water supplied. Located in the village of Big Bay, just 100 metres from the beach, the spacious Club-style house has all the conveniences needed for a relaxing stay including: large well-equipped kitchen (chefs will love the inventory); swimming pool; fast fibre internet; games room with pool table; braai/barbecue room; TV with satellite sports service; laundry room; and should you need it loads of storage for sports gear.
*** Please note the property is not available to rent from mid-November to mid-March each year.
The owner, James B (full name when you make contact), divides his time between London and Cape Town. The owner is a passionate sportsman and in season (Nov to March) the house operates as a club (accommodation) for kitesurfers at the premium end of the market. Out of season (end March to Nov) the house is available for general rentals.
The house has a full time manager who lives in an adjacent apartment to keep the house in good shape, fix minor issues and do daily tasks such as keeping the pool swept and balanced.
The owner loves chatting about the house, the area and what to see when visiting Cape Town and would be delighted to share his knowledge and love of the city.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the BigBay Beach house during our recent trip. Garey has been super useful to make sure we have all we needed. The house is modern, well equipped for a large group and easily accessible. The lower level has one bedroom that sleeps three people and another that sleeps two. Each with a bathroom. The top level has a beautiful master suite with an amazing view. The other three bedrooms have two single beds each and all three rooms share one bathroom, a slight negative. On the positive, the place is spacious, clean and the kitchen comes well equipped with a supermarket and restaurants close by.
If you have an easy going , large group, this is an excellent choice close to Cape Town but away from the crazy crowds. Do allow enough time to get back to the airport though since traffic can be crazy.
We had a great holiday. The house was close to the beach with fantastic views. We were able to walk down to the beach in our wetsuits and back again to shower off with no worrying about getting a car dirty. There are lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby and it is close to the Waterfront for good shopping. We had two young children who enjoyed the sun and beach by day and indoor fireplace and tv at night. All in all, a great stay.

Perfect house for family reunions, corporate retreats, sports groups wanting to use it as a base for sporting activities.

Cape Town International is 45 mins by car.
The property has a MyCiti bus connector stop nearby which is convenient for those wishing to go into town but not wanting to pay for a taxi or worrying about who is driving.

The property is in Big Bay itself, so walking distance to the beach and many restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
Further Details:
The property operates as an upscale lodge in the kitesurfing season (November to March) and so is unavailable to rent during that time. From late March to November we open the house to all guests.

Booking Notes:
Payment accepted in Rand, USD, CAD, GBP or EUR.
GBP account is a domestic transfer in the UK so no need for IBANs or SWIFT codes etc.
50% payable to confirm booking. 50% due two weeks before arrival.
Refundable R5000 damage deposit.
Changeover Day:
Preferred changeover day is Monday-Saturday but we are flexible and will do Sundays if asked.
