Why Wendy Malone chose Lossiemouth

It is very quite and secluded, yet in the midst of Lossiemouth near all the amenities. No need to use your car if you want to go out for a meal etc. Just a couple of minutes walk to East Beach, lovely coastal walks or you can just sit and look over the Moray Firth and enjoy one of Mieles scrumptious ice creams. Enjoy.

The cottage was delightful.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage had everything we needed to make our week away very relaxing. Wendy had very kindly provided us with some groceries, bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc. as our flight was delayed and we arrived 2 days late due to poor weather conditions.

The cottage location was perfect. We enjoyed some lovely walks around Lossiemouth, and visited many of the pretty fishing coves and beaches along the coast.

The ice cream parlour just a few steps from the door, was a great option for dessert.

We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in this area of Scotland

Beautifully renovated cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a few days in the cottage last week and were so impressed and pleased with the property. It has been beautifully renovated, but sympathetically so that it very much retains its original character. Well equipped, very clean and tidy and with a very generous welcome pack provided by Wendy. The cottage has a very attractive little walled garden, so feels very tranquil and peaceful. Very conveniently located within yards of Lossiemouth's amenities, and the quite stunning beach. Very highly recommended. We hope to get back.

outstanding hoilday let

This was a very last minute booking and involved an extremely long drive up,the owner, Wendy, even went to the trouble on this occasion greeting us with the keys as we arrived which I have to say was very much appreciated and gave us an information pack too.

We felt really lucky to have found Sea Town Beach House, it had everything we wanted and the whole ground floor cottage was to such an extremely high standard, and after such a long journey we found that there was a very welcome gesture,an unbelievable welcome pack of bread, butter, eggs, ham, milk, tea and coffee at hand to save unpacking your own at first.

We felt at home as soon as we walked in, it had such comfortable sofas and beds, the kitchen was more than adequate, there is a wood burner that was so good if the weather is cooler and heating was included in such a reasonable price , we couldn’t find any fault and it was just perfect for us.

With Parking close too it was such a bonus, a wonderful surprise were super tea shops and other local shops too, and no need to use the car if you want a meal locally as there’s a restaurant next door, would highly recommend a stay here to anyone and we will most certainly will be back to this super accommodation, it was such fantastic value for money we will be returning again back to Sea Town Beach House in a super location.

Special interest holidays:

Moray is known the world as Whisky country but there is much more to the area than just whisky. The Whisky Trail is the world's only trail devoted to single malt whisky and with over 50% of Scotland's malt whisky distilleries within 28 miles you won't be disappointed.

The Moray Firth has quiet, sandy beaches where you can watch dolphins. Activities in Moray for tourists include fly fishing, golf, walking and mountain biking. There are many tourist attractions in the area. Spend a few hours visiting a distillery, Explore castles, museums and Pictish Stones.

You can also choose from such activities as horse riding, mountain biking, walking, field sports, hiking, hill walking, climbing and sailing,

Lossiemouth is lucky enough to have 2 beaches and a marina. There was once a railway between Lossiemouth and Elgin and the dunes in Lossie’s East Beach were made using old railway carriages to protect the seatown from heavy seas.

Visitors can enjoy long walks, spectacular scenery and beautiful sandy beaches. The West Beach passing the landmark of Covesea Lighthouse is some 3 miles long.
