The most beautiful house with stunning gardens. The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The owners had prepared a superb manual of things to do in the vicinity. I can't wait to go back!
An outstanding property !!!
An outstanding property with all you could possibly need for a perfect break. The house was very clean with elegant furnishings and a luxurious finish. Our hosts were very warm and hospitable providing us with all the local information. Fortunatly, the weather was good so we were able to make use of the clean and well maintainded pool. A very relaxing stay with secluded grounds. I would very much recommend this property and will definetly be revisiting!
First Class in all aspects
Have just returned home today from a fantastic relaxing break at Seymour House, the only regret that we have from our stay was that it wasn't long enough to fully enjoy this stunning property and surrounding areas.
From point of arrival the owners Alex and Nik could not have been more accommodating to us and nothing was too much trouble, every conceivable effort had been made to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one and the attention to detail around this gorgeous property just added all the finishing touches necessary to make it a true 5 star residence.
Shampoos and conditioners are provided in the bathrooms, Egyptian cotton bedding in all bedrooms. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and following a nightmare journey to the property from London Alex even made sure that we had a few ice cold beers in the fridge on arrival as well.
There is plenty of outdoor seating on the patio overlooking the pool which we took advantage of as the weather was kind to us unlike the previous reviewer. We even braved a brief dip into the pool as well, which did provide a nice backdrop as the sun was setting. A brand new charcoal barbecue was provided and seeing as the weather was kind decided to cook al fresco on one of our evening there which was perfect.
All in all I can unreservedly recommend this stunning property to those wishing to have a break and enjoy a beautiful part of the UK, this is a real gem and we will be returning in the not too distant future for sure.
We were a group of 4 couples but this property would equally suit a large family break with children.
A little gem
We have just returned from a week at Seymour House and would like to thank Alex and Nic, the owners, for a fab week away in their lovely home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to make our stay really enjoyable. This included a lot of lovely touches including shampoo and conditioner, shower gel and bubble bath in the bathrooms and soaps, Fresh flowers, lots of towels in all the bedrooms and bathrooms, everything you would need left in the kitchen cupboards including spices, salts, flour, sugar etc and dishwasher tablets and soap powder, so you really don't need to bring anything.....they have thought of everything. The house is stunning set off a private road and is secure with double gates as you enter the property. The beds had good quality Egyptian white sheets a quilt covers. There was load of storage for all your clothes including coat hangers. The garden was absolutely beautiful with azaleas flowering. Unfortunately the weather wasn't as good as we hoped so only used the pool to have a cool down once. Alex and Nic supplied us with a brand new barbecue but again it wasn't really barbecue weather, but was really nice of them. There is also lots of cushions for all the array of outside furniture. We took our springer with us and she has absolutely enjoyed herself with a local walk and the Asdown Forest just a mile away. Crowborough has a load of lovely take away restaurants from a lovely Indian called the Rose of Bengall which was delicious, a couple of Chinese, fish and chips and kebab.....so something for everyone. We visited twice, as it was so nice, a lovely pub with excellent food in Hurstwood which is about 3 miles away but definitely worth a visit. Don't hesitate go ahead and book this lovely house you definitely won't regret it we had a fabulous week and would have stayed a month if we didn't have to work!!
