luxurious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor new apartment adjacent to pool (Sleeps 6) on the five star Roda Golf and Beach Resort. With marble floors throughout, the apartment is fully air-conditioned, has central heating and WI-FI. The modern furnished living and dining area, includes a 44 inch LCD TV with English channels, a DVD and X Box 360 player. Our neighbour has similar apartment for rent to accommodate larger parties. Great Golf course and amazing sandy beaches close by. BBQ, sunbeds and outside table and chairs provides a relaxing evenings dining.

About the Owner

Sarah and I have owned property in Spain for 10 years. We both worked very hard and wanted to get away from it all for long weekends. Where could we head to that kept travel time to a minimum? Well we discovered a beautiful part of unspoilt Spain called the Costa Calida and we were fell in love with the relaxing Spanish life, the long stretches of soft sandy beaches lined with palm trees, shallow warm Mar Menor ideal for kids, both traditional Spanish and new British style restaurants that suits everyone. Yes we found the place Los Alcazares.

Only 6 minutes from the airport in San Javier.From our English home to our Spanish home in less than 4 hours!! Brilliant.

We love it here in Roda and I hope you will. Just give us a call to discuss.

The apartment was brilliant had everything at your disposal to make it the best holiday ever, the owners have thought of everything which you will need and even thought of the little things which make it a home from home. The apartments location is perfect, would recommend it to anyone who this thinking about booking this apartment

The apartment was pukka, clean and tidy ( home from home ). Ian couldn't do enough for us, even when my 2 daughters came out for a few days he was always at hand putting us in the right direction. Also must say what a top bloke he is by buying us some bits to get us started with a nice bottle of red, that was polished off in no time. I must mention the bloke that drives the coach into town for €1 is one nice bloke ( even though I didn't know what he was going on about with the language barrier ) I'm also to blame. The restraunt on the golf course serves up a good bit of grub ( The Mulligan burger ) give it a go if there's any left, old porky had it 3 times... Will defo be booking again and staying at Ian's gaff nice and local as well from the airport 6min. Once again Ian thanks for letting us stay at your apartment it was the bollox. Hope to see you again next year in the Roda bar for a few beers.

Great property

Really enjoyed our stay in Ian's apartment, it's very clean and modern. The pool area was lovely, we spent a lot of our time around the pool, as its so close to the apartment. The Roda golf resort is in a great location too only 5 minutes drive from restaurants and the beach. We'll more than likely be looking to book the apartment again in the future. It was superb.

Dont book it

Been renting from Owners Direct for 13 years. Worst owners who kept our deposit to pay for their own faulty blind. These types of owners wreck the private market. It took all the good out of our holiday. So disappointing!

All that we ask is that our guests leave our wonderful apartment in the same condition they found it at the beginning of their stay. We have had many wonderful guests who have thoroughly enjoyed their stay, taken time to write lovely comments and most importantly they treated our apartment like they would treat their own homes.

Lovely family friendly apartment on great golf resort

We already have a good amount of local knowledge on the area but haven't stayed at Roda Golf resort before.

We arrived on the Sunday evening and everything was as described and easily accessible as explained by the helpful owners.

The apartment was immaculate and our kids loved the selection of DVDs and computer games within the property.

We treated the apartment as a "home from home" and we're all sad to leave.!

Would Definately recommend to friends and family.

We bought this wonderful apartment for the hot sunny climate 300 days every year guaranteed, the proximity to the airport, the fantastic golf on our doorstep, the beaches for our kids, and fantastic food and drink around the area. Why wouldn't anyone fall in love with Roda Golf?

Special interest holidays:

Roda is located on the shores of the Mar Menor at Los Alcazares, an old fishing and saltwater spa town with 5 miles of safe shallow sandy beaches and walkways for promenading and cycling. There are many beach-side restaurants and activities such as sailing, wind-surfing, kite boarding, scuba diving, pedallos and fishing that is a 5 minute car ride away or an easy cycle ride away. Roda has sunshine most of the year round with temperatures in the 30ºCs.


5 miles of safe shallow sandy beaches and walkways for promenading and cycling. There are many beach-side restaurants and activities such as sailing, wind-surfing, kite boarding, scuba diving, pedallos and fishing.

The beach is 1 mile away and can be walked in 20 minutes, cycled in 10 minutes or less than 5 minutes in car or taxi.


Our apartment is ideally located only 2 miles away from the airport.

10 minutes after collecting your car at the airport you can be sat on the apartment patio sipping wine.


Los Alcazares is less then a 10 minute drive. Cartagena is 30 minutes drive .Alicante and Murcia are all around 40/50 minutes drive. There is also a railway station 20 minutes drive away which offers connections to Madrid and Barcelona if you would like to venture further afield.

Further Details:

The resort and is only a 5 min drive from the Mar Menor with its 7km of flat promenades, fabulous beaches and the centre of Los Alcazares. This is a typically Spanish town with many delightful restaurants, tapas bars, banking, supermarkets and shops and a range of bars. It is very flat here and cycling is an ideal way of slowing down and trying out some of the beaches and bars! There are many Street Markets. Mondays: San Pedro del Pinatar. Tuesdays: Los Alcazares Town Centre. Wednesdays: Santiago de La Ribera. Thursdays: San Javier. Fridays: Torrevieja. Saturdays: Los Narejos & Torre Pacheco. Sundays: Cabo de Palos. Why not explore the Mar Menor Islands? There are five unihabitated islands in the Mar Menor. Isla del Barón (or Isla Mayor) and Isla Perdiguera are located near the centre of the lagoon and the other three Isla del Ciervo, Isla Rondella and Isla del Sujeto are grouped together near the southern end of the La Manga strip.

Isla del Ciervo is connected to La Manga by a short causeway. Isla Perdiguera is a popular destination for boat excursions with bars and restaurants on its small harbour. Ferries run frequently from Los-Alcazares and other towns on the Mar Menor in the summer. Fancy something different then why not try a Mud Bath. The water and the mud in the Mar Menor have a high concentration of salt which has been found to carry healing powers for people suffering arthritis, rheumatism, tendonitis, and joint ailments, skin ailments, as well as enhancing blood flow around the body.

Golfers paradise!!! and there is a brand new shopping Mall opened 30 minutes away in La Zenia for the shoppers in your family. Because of the excellent location of the apartment you can easily walk into town or to the local restaurants less than 5 minutes walk. All the facilities of Roda Golf are within a short walking distance. Its lovely sunny position will ensure you get lots of sunshine as you relax by the pool
