A homely and welcoming 'treasure' in Newport Pembs

  • 5 of 5

Ty Clyd is a fantastic house for a retreat in Pembrokeshire. We visited as a family of 10 and there was plenty of room for everybody to be comfortable. The chalet/playroom in the garden was a gem for the children! The property is maintained to a very high standard styled with beautiful traditional welsh blankets and lovely eye-catching local art-work.

The large homely kitchen is fantastic for entertaining followed by retreating in front of the log burner! Locally within walking distance of the house there are plenty of places for coffee, bar meals and formal-dining.

Also plenty of lovely coastal walks paths a stone-throw away from the house.

I would highly recommend Ty Clyd and we will certainly be returning in 2017!

Wonderful stay at Ty Clyd

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Ty Clyd - a well kept, family friendly house. Smart and clean with plenty of room and even a chalet in the garden, which itself was a very decent size. Really well equipped with everything we needed (and more). There was a travel cot which meant we didn't have to bring ours although no high chair that we could locate, although we didn't really expect there to be one so not a problem. Good location in the village, very close to the the main cafés and shops and easy to get to the path to the Parrog. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

Perfect Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Ty Clyd over new year 15/16 with a group of friends (8 adults and 1 1year old). The cottage was like walking into our dream home and was perfect for what we wanted. There is the large open space for everyone to be together in and socialise but also there is a small lounge if your wanting a quieter space. The kitchen is well equipped. The accommodation was very clean and furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Naomi (the owner) is very accommodating and any questions/queries we had were dealt with very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic cottage, fantastic location and fantastic owner. Lovely village and local walks and lots of information in the cottage about the local area and places to visit and added benefit of the visitors centre next door to the cottage. Also a lovely comfortable cottage to stay in on those rainy days with the lovely wood burner.

Thank you Naomi
