Hunstanton

Fully renovated two bedroomed Victorian fishermans cottage with fantastic sea views situated a short distance from the beach/sea with a first floor balcony overlooking the Wash. There is a contemporary kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and all modern appliances. The open plan layout features a dining area with retro wooden table and clear acrylic chairs to seat six, two comfortable ivory sofas and nautical theme. Upstairs via a modern striped carpeted staircase are two double bedrooms. One has a king size bed, bunk beds and opens on to a balcony with outdoor table and chairs. The second bedroom has a double bed, walk in wardrobe and contemporary en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have original cast iron Victorian fireplaces. Outside there is a fully enclosed private shingle garden with raised flower beds and railway sleepers.

Perfect.

Both the house and the location are lovely. The house is both comfortable and well catered. We love that it’s clearly a ‘lived in’ home. The owners left us the basics and even a lovely tin of biscuits. The location is great, 2 minutes to the beach. We will definitely be visiting I again

Excellent seaside cottage

The cottage has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard, rooms have a fresh and airy feel, lovely views over the wash from the 1st floor balcony. Location is great for the short walk into the town or for a stroll on the miles of beach. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and friendly when we booked. It was all as good or better than the description. Will certainly book again soon

Ideal for families - great location and cosy accom

I arrived to a very well presented and spotlessly clean property which was ideally located for my young family right on the seafront, and also having a bedroom with balcony and breathtaking sea views. It was easy to settle down with the kids and even included a few essentials from the owner which made our arrival easier. My family and I had a very memorable trip and will have no hesitation in staying again next summer.

Cancelled on me two weeks before my family holiday

My booking was cancelled less than two weeks before my holiday. This has ruined my summer family holiday. I have had to book inland as at this late date there is nowhere on the coast to say. Not to be trusted and very disorganised. I have had to put a date in the arrival date section. But I have never stayed here as booking was canceled.

Owner's Response: With less than 2 weeks to the guest arriving the only money I had received for the booking was a minimal deposit (which I had to wait for). I can't see how anyone can expect to take a holiday which has not been paid for, with less than a fortnight to go !! No holiday company would tolerate this.

The local coast hopper bus will take you along the 20 mile stretch of coastline to Blakeney stopping off at Holme next to sea, Brancaster, Burnham Deepdale, Thornham, Holkham and Wells next to sea.
