About Laura

We are a small family who fell in love with Cornwall and decided to buy our own little piece of it. My name is Laura, my husband is Richard and we have Reuben our 5 year old who has enjoyed lots of holidays here. We brought the lodge in November 2012.

In all our visits we always enjoy the local beaches and surrounding areas. there is lots to do for Families and feel we have only scratched the surface! We enjoy the Eden project which is close by and always take our son to Cornwall Crealy a lovely Adventure Play park for little right upto big ones!! There are many lovely Restaurants to visit too. Laura purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Laura chose Saint Minver

We loved holidaying in Cornwall and decided to buy our own little piece of it so that we had lots of happy holiday memories with our little boy. There is lots to offer as a family and we know we shall never tire of what Cornwall has to offer!

What makes this cabin unique

Lovely location within beautiful surroundings. The luxury of the lodge and its interior. Convenient to get to it wonderful beaches. Access to The Eden Project and other top attractions. We love the Ferry trip over to Padstow. Wadebridge is also a lovely town very close by.

Fantastic Week

  • 5 of 5

Great Lodge, everything we needed with home comforts and very clean. Great location for exploring North Cornwall. As our children are older we didn't really go into the Manor House for the entertainment on an evening. Good to have use of the pool for a £12 pass each for the week.

The perfect retreat

  • 5 of 5

9 Trehawks is a beautiful lodge, it is equipped with everything you need for your stay in Cornwall. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable providing the perfect accommodation for your holiday to explore Cornwall. The lodge has plenty of outdoor space and a nice decking to sit outside , weather permitting ! We have stayed in this lodge twice and have also booked it for next year. The site is very clean and well kept, the lodges are spaced well apart and are not on top of each other. The site is very clean and tidy and peaceful. There is a swimming pool on site and also entertainment for young children. It is very close to Rock and also the fabulous surfing beach New Polzeath, sitting on the rocks with our friends at New Polzeath watching our kids surfing is our favourite passtime in Cornwall. Nearby Rock has very nice restaurants and a lovely beach, and also there is a nice pub 2 minutes from the site called The Fourways Inn,, we ate in it several times and the food was lovely.

Laura the owner is wonderful, she is always available to sort any problems out you may have, we have never experienced any problems.

It is the perfect holiday

Memorable holiday

  • 5 of 5

We thought by previous reviews and from the photographs that the lodge looked nice and we were not disappointed. After a reasonable journey it was so nice to arrive at a very clean and comfortable place to relax. The lodge is extremely well equipped and very well maintained. In a very nice position on the site and great to be able to have the car right outside. We didn't really make use of the facilities as we were only really interested in somewhere nice to stay but my general opinion of the park is that it would be great for families, plenty for them to do and very convenient with some lovely beaches nearby. Would definitely come again.
