Lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

Although the cottage is in the middle of Sheringham, so very close to the shops and the sea, it is very quiet and private. The cottage is obviously very well looked after by the owner, who couldn't have been more helpful. Parking in Sheringham wasnt a problem at all and it was very easy to find. It is tastefully decorated, has everything you could need and more, and was warm and very comfortable and felt very safe. I hope to be back!

Very good price/standard

  • 4 of 5

Sheringham is a great place, we had two dogs (cocker - working dogs) at the house - bit cramped, but ok. The lounge door is warped & won't close properly, but apart from that no probs at all. Parking: the cottage is in a cul de sac in/just off the high street

You get 45 mins to unload in the high street from 8am to 6 pm. It was not a problem but just be aware you need to find somewhere to park. We stayed in winter it might be awkward in the summer.

Excellent Stay in Sheringham

  • 5 of 5

Wow, what an amazing cottage! Location was perfect, just off the high street so a very easy walk to the sea or the train station, we did not use our car the entire break. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy and comfortable, the bedroom is an incredible space, two fabulous bathrooms and dog friendly too!

I would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family and hope to return again very soon.

We had a great time staying in this lovely little home. Everything you needed was on your doorstep - the sea, the shops and beautiful walks. Highly recommended.

Smart comfortable and good value!

  • 5 of 5

This is a perfect place for a couple, a dog and possibly a 7-12 year old child (not that we have one but there is a mezzanine which could be used by a child). We were impressed by the decor and the facilities which included 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, and two modern televisions, cd and radio. The cottage is well located down a little drive off station road surrounded by shops restaurants and cafes and a short walk to the beach.

The downsides (which didnt bother us) would be lack of a garden. It means if you bring a dog lie in is limited and having to park on a street. Sometimes we drove round twice in busy parts of the day.

Great location, roomy and modern chalet. Very good value.

Very good break. Friday arrival and departure days made it ideal to have a full weekend at the Forties event on the railway. Saturday arrival would encroach on weekend events! Easy access to public transport made exploring the local area very enjoyable.
