Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fully air-conditioned with an excellent heating system if required and wireless internet. Being on the ground floor the apartment is suitable for everyone. This brand new, luxuriously appointed apartment offers accommodation rarely found at this price level. Representatives from Algarve Estate Management are contactable throughout your stay should you require any assistance. Inside the apartment you will find a welcome folder and other useful information. Please feel free to add your own tips and recommendations. A buggy and travel cot are available free of charge. Outside: The lounge opens onto a large balcony and BBQ area. There is a dining table 6 chairs for al fresco dining, 2 sun loungers for relaxing and gets the sun, making it ideal for private bathing. There is a second balcony off the bedrooms with a table and chairs. In addition roof terrace and storage area for golf clubs and cases. There is a large pool and a children’s pool as well as beautifully maintained garden areas. This is free exclusively to the residents of Encosta Da Marina. By the pools sun loungers are provided free of charge.

Fabulous Apartment

My husband and I had a great 2 weeks in the apartment in early April. It is fitted out to the highest standard and really provides that "home from home" feeling. We did not have a car so the proximity to town, the marina and the local supermarket was ideal. Fully kitted out with all white goods including dishwasher, it also had an iPod dock, SMART tv and hairdryer which saved on our packing.

The local restaurants are great, we ate in a different one every night and were completely spoiled for choice. The town is beautiful, really clean and you can do as much or as little as you choose to.

In summary a fabulous apartment in a beautiful town!!

Perfect place to get the best of all worlds..

We were lucky enough to be one of the first guests to stay at this apartment and we had a fantastic week. The apartment was just perfect, with just me, my husband and my 5 year old daughter, we had more than enough space to have all the benefits of a home from home whilst being just minutes away from a great selection of bars and restaurants. The apartment has a large lounge with all the mod cons, full SKY (to my husband's sporting and my daughters Disney delight!), iPod docking station, DVD, electronic shutters for the patio doors, it was all there. The kitchen also had everything you could think of with a array of cooking utensils and crockery, all with plastic / picnic versions too! I spent most of my time sunning myself on the balcony watching the world go by ..

To the rear of the apartment there is also a lovely, secluded and very private swimming area for sunbathing with a couple of pools that are really child friendly and you can easily pop to and from the apartment to get anything you need.

Lagos itself really is gorgeous. At the apartment you are about 5 mins walk to the Marina which has plenty to do in itself but just another 10 mins away you are in a town of cobbled streets with entertainment, bars, too many great places to eat to mention and fantastic wee shops. (The apartment has a book of places to go, taxi numbers etc).

And last but not least the beach.. probably about 15 - 20 mins walk to miles of sand and sea, again great wee beach bars that serve lovely fresh seafood and very cold wine.

We loved it - and are delighted to be going back again in August.!
