Holiday Home in St. Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales - Short Distance From Cathedral, Shops, Coastal Path And Whitesand Bay

The Boathouse is a lovely self catering holiday home for two in St Davids. It’s located in Goat street just a stone’s throw from the Cross Square, Cathedral, shops and restaurants and yet minutes from the coastal path and Whitesand Bay. The Boathouse has one double bedroom with a new, kingsize, french style bed and Vi-Spring pocket sprung mattress; a cosy sitting room with sofa, chairs, desk and log effect stove as well as Sony TV, DVD and CD with iPod connection and Wi-fi.

All rooms are on the first floor and the kitchen is very well equipped with views across to the sea and distant hills. It has two private balconies for morning and midday sun and a back balcony flies over an attractive courtyard…ideal for those warm summer evenings. Bookings are Friday to Friday.

We have loved St David's for over 30 years, since our family started camping at Caerfai Bay in 1983. We bought Ty Gwilym Holiday Cottages in 2008 and now enjoy a roof over our head on our increasingly frequent visits.

Great find in a beautiful place

My husband and I stayed at The Boathouse for 4 nights with our 9 month old daughter last week. On arrival at the cottage, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms (bigger than I expected!) and there were lots of little details to make our stay as comfortable as possible, not least the homemade cake!

The property was newly renovated to a really nice standard, had more than everything we needed and the super comfy bed and lovely terraces were an added bonus. Travelling with a small child the garage was also really useful to be able to properly unload and pack up.

It was my first visit to St. Davids and we will certainly be back. Some great restaurants and shops in the village and easy access to some beautiful walks.

Really look forward to returning, and hopefully to The Boathouse.
