About the property

Apartment in Earls Court, Kensington and Chelsea Area, London, England - Prestigious Garden Square

In addition there is a fully equipped kitchen, a separate study (which is also ideal for a baby in the supplied travel cot), a dining area, a comfy sitting area and a large flat screen TV. You can access the large and well-tended communal garden using a key that we provide and, in suitable weather, this is highly recommended. Our apartment is ideally suited to both families and those without children and is very centrally located, giving easy access to all areas of London. We take great pride in the quality and design of our flats and only offer a five star experience. We sincerely hope you will stay at our apartment and enjoy the buzz of central London living, with the rich combination of past and present culture that sets London apart from virtually every other major city in the world. With great transport links for all areas of London and next door to Chelsea and Knightsbridge for world class shopping, we are in the heart of London's west end. There are a huge choice of restaurants, from great value simple food to Michelin starred decadence. The Thames is only a short distance away and it is well worth considering a boat trip, where you have the best view of the changing faces of London. The London Eye, where you can see all of London and the surrounding areas, is only 25 minutes door to door and is unmissable if you want to get a feel for the size and diversity of our city.

About Rupert Maitland

I live with my wife, three daughters, two cats and two dogs (phew!) in Hove, on the South Coast of England. I jointly own our flat in Earls Court Square with my sister, Kate.

Rupert Maitland purchased this apartment in 2014

Why Rupert Maitland chose Earls Court

We have owned a few flats in Earls Court over the last few years because we like the area, it is very central and because the houses are so beautifully designed. So when one came up on Earls Court Square, we jumped at the chance. Whilst Earls Court itself is a bustling cosmopolitan hub, the square itself is remarkably quiet, especially if you treat yourself to a stroll in the private communal garden, weather permitting of course!

Great Flat! Wonderful Stay.

  • 5 of 5

The flat is within easy walking distance to Underground. Stayed in London for 8 days and only used the Underground and trains. Flat has all of the amenities and the park across the street is a wonderful place to take a stroll. Plenty of local restaurants and vegetarian options. If you are there on a Sunday, there is a Farmer's Market right around the corner.

Five Star stay.

  • 5 of 5

Excellent location. Five minute walk to Earls Court Station which is on the Piccadilly Line so goes straight to Heathrow, Piccadilly, Leicester Square and Covent Garden. You dont need a car. But if you have one we found secure parking at the Nadler Hotel which is also a short walk away. £62.50 for two days.

Flat is really nice looking into a square and is in a beautiful old building. Has everything you need. Two bedrooms two bathrooms and an open plan living dining and kitchen area. For those staying more than a few nights it even has a washing machine. Had WiFi and TVs in both bedrooms. Beautiful working shutters in the lounge area and lovely antique furniture.

The owner arranged for us to drop our bags off prior to the official check in time which was a great help.

Would definitely stay there again.

great rental prperty and great location!

  • 4 of 5

I rented this flat for a week at Easter for my daughter, my neice, and myself. It is in a great location just a short walk to the Earl's's Court tube. It is in a very convenient area with restuarants , grocery stores, pubs and pharmacies. The flat was clean and well equipped. We always felt safe in the neighborhood. We had a problem when we were locked out of the flat and when we called the owner, he was immediately repsonsive and took care of the problem. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars as the furniture in the sitting room was very uncomfortable-not really important when you are out sight seeing all day!

Lovely flat in a fabulous location!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely flat! The flat has so many wonderful things going for it. The location is superb with it's proximity to the Earl's Court Tube station as well as many great restaurants, pubs, cafes, etc. The flat is very well appointed with amenities and lovely decor. I will have to say that the area of the flat where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located have very low ceilings, which I had read in another review. The only true difficulty/inconvenience is in the upstairs bathroom where the shower is almost unusable due to the low ceilings. We aren't really a very tall family, but the shower heads in that bathroom are so low that even our 12 year old daughter who is 4 foot, 11 inches couldn't use it without having to squat down to get under the water stream. I'm still giving this 5 stars though since I truly believe that it is still well worth the stay!

So Perfect in Every Way!

  • 5 of 5

We loved every minute staying at Rupert's charming flat and truly appreciated his finely organized logistics and care. The flat was impeccably clean with just the right touches where you need them--modern bath and kitchen with a classic living area and comfortable bed rooms. Great lighting everywhere including along the steps. I loved sitting looking out the big windows feeling part of life in London. Although the flat is only 2 blocks from the tube, the neighborhood is quiet and lively in a civilized way. We can't wait to stay there again and really feel like we are living in London! Thank you for making our trip to London so comfortable and trouble-free. I wish I could give more than 5 stars but you get the idea:)
