The layout of the bungalow makes it very suitable for families with board games and puzzles to keep them entertained or would equally suit couples wishing to holiday together. If you are just wanting to take it easy and re-charge your batteries you will find the bungalow comfortable, relaxing and well equipped, with a pleasant private garden for sitting out, which is entirely enclosed making it very suitable for pets and younger children.

About Wendy Gibbs

Hi. Thank you for taking an interest in Autumn Rose.

My name is Abigail Gibbs. I am twenty years old and I am currently a finalist reading English Language and Literature at Oxford University. I spend some of my vacations writing here, its where I can enjoy the peace and quiet and solitude required to pen that next chapter. My first book The Dark Heroine was published in 2012 by Harper Collins after being spotted on an internet writing site, where I already had a fan base emerging. When time permitted between studies, I completed my second book in the series, aptly named 'Autumn Rose'. which was launched in January 2014. I hope to continue my writing career following my graduation later this year.

Why Wendy Gibbs chose Torbay

Sea Whisper has been used by my extended family for some 10 years. Cousins, Aunts and Uncles would always love to come and stay here in Brixham. Torquay was voted by the public as the best UK resort on the website Trip Advisor, therefore it is not surprising the bungalow was always a popular destination. It is well equipped for self catering and has a secure garden ideal for young children.

What makes this bungalow unique

I am very fortunate to have been brought up here in Brixham with my two brothers, we always enjoyed sailing off the breakwater and rowing on the river at Dartmouth.

My personal recommendations for places to visit would be Paignton Zoo Dartmoor with of course a devon cream tea

Babbacombe model village and I especially enjoyed crabbing at Stoke Gabriel. I hope you too can enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer.

Notes on accommodation: The garden is fully enclosed therefore suitable for dogs and children. A park area is situated at the end of the cul-de-sac, ideal for dog walks and ball games. The property is also on a bus route into Brixham and there is a local convenience store and excellent fish and chips within 300 metres. Outside: Garden laid to grass and shrubs. The rear garden has a level paved patio area with garden furniture and barbecue plus washing line. Enclosed and private with views over Torbay. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are included. The property will be prepared to a high standard and all beds are ready for your stay. Guests booked for 2 weeks are offered a change of linen.

PERFECT again!! Our second stay at Sea Whisper...

We have been visiting Brixham for more 20 years and have always struggled to find suitable dog friendly accommodation. The bungalow is well equipped, clean and homely with an enclosed private rear garden ideal for dogs and small children. Sea Whisper has amazing sea views, It was everything we had hoped for and much more.

Fantastic Bungalow with lovely views

We had a fantastic week weather was glorious and we sat outside looking at views over the bay until sun went down

Bungalow was immaculate with everything you could possibly need and few added extras which were a very pleasant suprise Thank you Wendy you are a star We would highley recommend bungalow to friends and family We found William of Orange near Marina was excellent value for carvery and Breakwater Bistro had some fantastic fish dishes there is so much to see and do in Torbay

Great location and super views.

Lovely clean bungalow which was just perfect for a short break to explore the surrounding area. Super secure garden for our dog and everything we needed. We had a great day travelling by bus and steam train and walking the coastal path. We booked the bungalow at really short notice and what a good choice.
