Very comfortable place to call home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Yogis Cottage for five weeks as a temporary home from home between moving house. The accommodation was excellent in all respects, it was clean, modern and all fittings and fixtures in very good condition, exactly as described on the website It was extremely well appointed and for a compact one bed cottage contained everything we needed to live comfortably. We particularly liked the sitting/ dining room which was amply spacious to eat and relax in. Great TV and wi-fi which worked well. Great parking area for two cars and easy access from the main road. The location was quiet and an easy walk into Souldern village where the local pub serves good pub food.

The owners , Jane and Ken were very welcoming and provided excellent assistance with anything we needed from some extra storage space in the garden shed to digging me out on a snowy day.

We would recommend Yogis Cottage as a place to stay providing comfort and convenience in a quiet location.

Superb cottage in idyllic location

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful extended stay, with hosts who became friends, and in a cottage that sets an extremely high benchmark.

We stayed in Yogis Cottage for 7 weeks while our home was being renovated, but we wish we could have stayed for longer. Yogis Cottage is finished to a high standard throughout and full of little details that make a real difference.

This superb cottage is complimented by wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. Their kindness and hospitality was first class.

I would recommend Yogis Cottage to anyone looking for a weekend retreat or short stay. With easy access to the M40, the A34 to Oxford and the A43 to Northampton, Yogis Cottage is ideally located to explore the many picturesque towns and villages in the area.

Yogis A great find!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I, booked Yogis cottage as a convenient place to stay for the F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Whilst it was a very good base for the Grand Prix, it was so much more than that, Yogis is also close to Bicester for shopping, or a short train ride to Oxford. It's also very close to the M40 and all that Oxfordshire and the Cotwolds has to offer. The cottage itself is in a lovely, peaceful location but with a pub that serves good food, just a 10 minute stroll into the village. Ken and Jane the owners of this lovely cottage are very friendly and approachable and will give any advice should you need it, their attention to detail in Yogis, is what makes this cottage stand out and they really have thought of everything to make Yogis a real "home from home" beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated, it's also very spacious for a one bedroom cottage. We loved our stay and meeting Ken and Jane was a pleasure. We would definitely recommend Yogis to friends and family and will return to this lovely cottage ourselves, in the not too distant future

Comfortably furnished and well-equipped accommodation. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

  • 5 of 5

This single storey accommodation was a joy. Extremely well-equipped throughout; nothing was missing. A huge comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom added to the luxury of the place. The owners were welcoming and provided useful advice on the area. A lovely place to stay, the best in the area, and we hope to return.

Yogis Cottage was a lovely place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location!

  • 4 of 5

Yogis Cottage was a great place from which to explore the region. It was well equipped and reflected the lovely atmosphere of the area. Listening to the clip-clip of horses in the morning was relaxing. We enjoyed trips to Stratford on Avon, Oxford and Blenheim Palace not to mention the beautiful village of Souldern itself. We visited the local pub, the Fox Inn for a drink and then dinner which was great. It is within walking distance from the cottage and we could see the lovely houses of the locals. A walk along the canal took us to another small village and its pub. Fantastic to see the natural landscape.Coming from overseas we would have liked perhaps an earlier communication if the address. Also there was no washing powder or instructions for the washing machine so it could do a quicker cycle. These are very minor issues and did not detract from a wonderful stay!
