Absolutely perfect!!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in this cottage for three nights and it had everything that we wanted. The location was lovely as it was surrounded by mountains and in a quiet area. The actual cottage itself was well-mantained and perfect for two people. The only downside would be the shower, due to not to being able to get the correct temperature on it. Other than that it was perfect and would definitely recommend it.

Owner's Response: I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay this weekend in our cottage, and hope you may return one day. I'm sorry you had problems with the shower temperature we were not aware of this, but will certainly be looking in to it, I only wish you had mentioned it to me while you were here and we could maybe have had it sorted for you. Hope you had a good journey back to London. Thanks Laura

I camped there nearly 60 years ago (1957) with a scout group and it still looks beautiful. Happy times.

You must try it. New Zealand

From the Owner

Hollows Cottage is only 1/2 mile from Grange, where there is 2 busy tea rooms, and less than 5 mile from Keswick which is a bustling market town, the farm is rural but not isolated. We live next door to the cottage, it is owner maintained, and we have a good knowledge of the area for walks, eating out. Our youngest son has free range eggs for sale. You can often see Gavin working and training sheep dogs. We look forward to welcoming you to Hollows Farm.
