The Glan Morfa properties were winners of the ‘Best Self-Catering Establishment of the Year’, sponsored by InOut Magazine at the 2011 Anglesey Tourism Awards. Heating and light are supplied by solar and wind energy, with a reed bed system that takes away the waste water. You can enjoy your holiday knowing you are doing your bit to reduce the carbon foot print. Swan, or Alarch in Welsh, is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounded by open countryside with views toward the mountains of Snowdonia and down the Lleyn Peninsula. The nature reserve includes two lakes, beautiful walks and masses of flora and fauna - you can enjoy so much here even without having to get in the car. This is an old farm annexe which has been fully restored. It has an open plan living room with comfy sofas and chairs in the sitting room, flat screen TV and DVD, dining table and chairs to one side, lovely view across the fields to the estuary. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave and fridge.
About the Owner
Dave and Marta gave up London life for this paradise. Dave, 30 years in child protection, Marta, 20 years in Marketing - knowing nothing about tourism - turned their dream into reality. Fonsi, our 16 year old, is going to catering school and loving this part of the world.

Glan Morfa is pet-friendly and perfect for families and friends of all ages. It has six spacious and well designed stone-built cottages and is set in 37 acres of country-park. The site includes two lakes and is an ideal holiday location for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and star gazers as well as for those who simply wish to relax and recharge their batteries while enjoying the beautiful and tranquil surroundings. You might even catch a glimpse of the otters that are regular visitors to the lakes at Glan Morfa. We have a games room with a pool table and darts, as well as a communal library.”
