This property is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom furnished townhouse with roof terrace, in an excellent position on the luxury golf resort of Parque da Floresta, 15/20 minutes drive from Lagos. It has fabulous views over the resort and golf course to the ocean beyond. We are a 2 minutes walk from the spectacular championship 18 hole golf course - All guests receive 40% discount on golf green fees. At the Golf Clubhouse there is a top class restaurant and snacks are served at the Spikebar overlooking the 18th green where there is also free internet access. The resort also has driving range and golf practice facilities, floodlit tennis courts, a bowling green and bowling club, archery range and horse riding is nearby. The spa with gym, indoor pool is also a 1-2 minutes walk away as are the heated outdoor pools (including childrens pool) with bar and snacks. There is an excellent Italian restaurant next to the resort reception which also does a takeaway pizza service. A few minutes away by car you have unspoilt beaches and small family restaurants. The village of Budens with a fully stocked supermarket is only 5 minutes drive as is the wonderful sandy beach of Salema.

Great property for a family beach holiday

Lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. Ideal for a family of 4. It is very well equipped from utensils, washing machine and dishwasher. Clean and tidy when we arrived. The house is on a lovely site with large swimming pool/s and within an easy drive to many great beaches, restaurants and facilities but not too "touristy"! Highly recommend to those wanting to find a more authentic Portugal.

Fantastic family home with great facilities in perfect location

We had a perfect holiday staying in the property. The house was exactly as described and in immaculate condition. The facilities were great and the wifi perfect. The resort itself was also well maintained and the pool just a few minutes walk from the property. The local beaches were not too crowded and very clean and some of the local restaurants were excellent. Stephen was always quick to respond to any messages and was easily able to arrange a travel cot for us too. We would happily return for future holidays too.

There are many charming and unspoilt beaches along the southern coastline to Sagres, some with beach bars, cafes, restaurants and water sports. The closest, Salema, is only a 5 minute drive from Parque da Floresta It is a small fishing village with a long, sandy, gently sloping beach and superb restaurants, bars and shops.

Approximately 15 minutes drive to Lagos with a wealth of shops, bars, restaurants, marina and beaches. The West Coast has great surfing beaches within 20/30 minutes drive


Parque da Floresta is about an hour’s drive from Faro Airport, largely by dual carriageway and motorway.

Car hire is recommended and there are numerous car hire companies operating from Faro Airport. We can recommend a couple of well-established company’s where pick-up is at the airport, and their rates are fully inclusive of insurance plus an additional driver. Please ask for details

Taxis are also readily available if required including transfers from and to Faro Airport.


All of the Resort facilities are within walking distance from the house.

Budens is the nearest village; only 5 minutes drive with supermarket, restaurants, bakery and petrol station.

Salema is 5 minutes drive away with a wonderful sandy beach, bars and restaurants with seafood a specialty.

Vila do Bispo is 5/10 minutes away and has banks and a Medical Centre/Pharmacy.

To the east approximately 15/20 minutes drive is Lagos and the coast to the west is a 20/30 minute drive.

Further Details:

Budens village is a short drive from the house with a very well stocked supermarket including a bakery and also a petrol station.

Cash point machines are situated at the main Parque Da Floresta reception and at the supermarket in Budens. There are banks in Lagos and in nearby Vila do Bispo which also has a Pharmacy.

Bars and good restaurants can be found in Salema especially those specialising in fresh fish. Details and recommendations for other restaurants within close driving distance are available in the house.

Lagos, with its beautiful cobbled streets lined with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and marina, is just 15-20 mins drive away. There are several large supermarkets, an indoor fish market and fruit/vegetable market. Lagos is steeped in history and culture and well worth a visit both day and night. Lagos also has a number of great beaches. Water sports facilities are available at Meia Praia beach, which curves around the large bay stretching to the Alvor estuary. Water parks, Zoomarine and Zoo de Lagos are all reasonably close by.

Portimao has a large shopping centre and a retail-shopping complex on the outskirts and a comprehensive shopping mall is to be found at Shopping Algarve at Guia
