Very cosy cottage in a lovely spot. The weather has been mixed but we have still packed a lot in- Welsh Highland Railway, train down to Barmouth and the Fairbourne Railway, lovely walk at Morfa Nefyn, Portmeirion and several local walks.

Lovely quiet location

  • 5 of 5

The property is ideal for two, containing everything needed in short stay holiday accommodation. The cottage was warm on arrival, clean and tidy. We were welcomed by the owner, who was on hand throughout our stay but never intrusive. Milk in the fridge and Welsh Cakes were a welcome surprise.

We found the cottage in an ideal base for walking and not too far from Porthmadog; £6 in a local taxi.

We would definitely recommend this cottage to those looking for a comfortable quiet getaway.

Great character cottage, with individual features that make it feel homely.

  • 4 of 5

It is in a very convenient but quiet location for walking the coast path or just into local towns. It's nice to have the garden to sit in and watch the local wildlife.

Lovely Cottage In An Ideal Location

  • 5 of 5

Just stayed here for 3 nights with my partner.

A lovely cottage which is so well located for accessing beaches and lovely countryside.

We had fantastic weather which is obviously a plus - which then gave us the opportunity to sit out in the well sized private garden.

Would definitely return.

There's a warm welcome in the Valley

  • 5 of 5

Fermddy Bach is a lovely old cottage with everything you could wish to make it a home from home.

The owners were most helpful and welcoming and had kitted the cottage out to a very high standard, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday or short break.

Its location was close to the sea and beach, only a short walk from a lovely little restaurant or around a mile or so from the many attractions of Pothmadog.

As walkers, we were spoiled for choice with Snowdon and the surrounding hills an hour or so away and a number of coastal walks also within easy reach from Barmouth to Anglesey.

We will certainly return again and would highly recommend the property for its location, quality, owners helpfulness and old fashioned character,...

Our thanks and appreciation to The owners for their care and attention to our needs, it made the holiday relaxed and enjoyable.
