About sue hudson

We live in North Norfolk and feel lucky to live under the wide open skies and to be close to the beautiful North Norfolk coast.

We love Gresham because of the peaceful and unspoilt nature of the village with its duck pond and abundance of wildlife. There are some beautiful beaches nearby and a large part of the North Norfolk coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are keen cyclists and enjoy walking in the countryside and along the coastal paths.

Great place.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here over Easter. The property was in a great location. The property itself is very clean and tidy, 2 good size bedrooms good size lounge nice kitchen. the cooker is only a counter top cooker which was not a problem to us as we only used it for breakfasts. The hosts were very pleasant and on hand if needed, I would recommend this property to anybody that asked.

A splendid little retreat.

  • 4 of 5

This property was ideal for our weekend away in North Norfolk. It was a clean and maintained to a very high standard. The owner took the trouble to ensure that we were settled in and explained everything too us. The tea, cakes and fresh flowers left out for our arrival was a really nice touch. We would have some concerns if we had been staying for longer, as the kitchen only had a small 'kitchen top two ring electric hob', small oven and a toaster. If we were staying for a week or more, we would have had need for at least a microwave or a larger cooker. The toaster was also a bit small in that it would not take thick bread or crumpets. The lounge could have done with two sofas rather than, one sofa plus a couple of upright chairs, to enable all 4 adults in our party to relax in more comfort. That said though, all in all ideal for the weekend break and we had a good time.

Beautiful stone cottage with easy access to the Norfolk seaside

  • 4 of 5

Really lovely stone cottage with a large garden area next to the owner's property. We received a very warm welcome from Sue, who made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The cottage was very comfortable and well-equipped - very clean and light, with lovely wooden beams and large windows in the lounge looking onto the garden. Minor improvements might be a better cooker (electric mini-hob) and TV, but these are very minor points.

The location was great - 10 minutes drive into Sherringham or Cromer.

Amazing cottage!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had the most amazing time. The property was a good distance from all the lovely places that the area has to offer. The country roads are treacherous, so make sure you are ready for single lane driving!! The cottage itself was lovely and well maintained by Sue (who was so incredibly helpful). It has everything you need, including milk in the fridge!

The garden is HUGE, so if you take the kids, they have loads of space to run around too..

It is all so beautiful, it's hard to find anything at all negative to say about the cottage or indeed Sue who was so helpful!

100% recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay..

Perfect spot

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a stay at Stone Cottage Annex, with our two granddaughters, aged 6 & 9.

What a lovely place! We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

The cottage is in a quiet village, 3 miles from the coast, and with an enclosed garden, great for the kids.

Sue and Colin are excellent hosts and we thank them for a great stay.

The granddaughters are already planning a return visit!
