Farmhouse with Pool near Montaigu-de-Quercy, Tarn et Garonne, Midi-Pyrenees, France - Lovely Restored Farmhouse To Sleep Up To 12 People Set In Large Grounds With Private Swimming Pool

A beautifully restored Quercy stone Farmhouse with, an additional guest Gite, private Swimming Pool (salt) set in approximately 16 hectares. The property is situated about 3kms from the market town of Montaigu de Quercy. It is situated in pretty, rural countryside ideal for walking and cycling. The property is set on the side of a valley and has wonderful views over the rural countryside. At Montaigu de Quercy is a wonderful leisure Lake with sand beaches , waterslides, paddle boats and canoes for hire. There are also tennis courts at the lake and public courts in the town. On a Saturday there is the town’s market and you will find all around the area local markets, Fetes and music concerts.

The accommodation has 5 bedrooms in total, 4 bath/shower rooms and 5 WCs to sleep up to 12 people and the property retains many lovely features. The side entrance opens into a farmhouse kitchen which had been renovated into a well equipped & fitted kitchen. There is a large cooker with 6 gas rings and an electric oven, a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and a small table and chairs. There is a sitting reading room with doors out to the terrace area. There is a utility room with washing machine, WC and basin. The large sitting room has comfortable seating with an open fireplace, TV and DVD player, books and games. There are doors out to the terrace and swimming pool area.

Upstairs there is a large landing area into a shower room with shower, basin and WC. There are 3 Bedrooms, Bedroom 1 is a large dormitory bedroom with 4 single beds. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and Bedroom 3 has a 4ft 6 double bed. There is a bathroom with bath, WC ,shower attachment and basin. There is a separate WC. Across from the main house the additional guest Gite, has 2 double bed-rooms, 4ft 6in beds and a shower room & WC. Linen is included but please bring your own swimming pool towels.

Outside , directly behind the main house is a lovely open covered auvent (terrace) area with outside table & Chairs and a BBQ. There is a 10m x 5m (salt)swimming pool with integral corner steps and views across the garden over the valley and countryside. The grounds continue behind the house into woodlands and is ideal for walking.

BY ROAD The superb French Autoroute system, to this region are the A10 (from the north to Bordeaux), the A20 (from Paris via the A10, A71) to Toulouse & the A62 (from Toulouse to Bordeaux). The journey from Calais to the property will take around 11 hours.

BY RAIL Eurostar runs via the Channel Tunnel between London & Paris to Agen

The property is situated about 3kms from the market town of Montaigu de Quercy. At Montaigu de Quercy is a wonderful leisure Lake with sand beaches , waterslides, paddle boats and canoes for hire. There are also tennis courts at the lake & public courts in the town. On a Saturday there is the town’s market and you will find all around the area local markets, Fetes & music concerts. There are many interesting places to see in this unspoilt area, The towns of Villeneuve-sur-Lot & Penne d Agenais.

Subject to availability, Kingfisher will then, on the owner’s behalf, confirm your booking to you. a Final Invoice will be issued , This will show the balance, which is payable in cleared funds 8 weeks before your holiday starts.


Changeover Day:
Unless stated, only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted. You must ensure that you do not arrive at the property until after 4pm on the day of arrival and you must depart before 10am on the day of departure.
