This is a beautiful contemporary apartment in a purpose built, prestigious residence completed in 2013. Located on the top (3rd floor) with lovely 180 degree open views of the Provencal countryside. Residents' pool. Private parking. Lift. Air conditioning. W-fi. Furnished in a relaxed Scandinavian style, it offers everything you need for your perfect holiday on the Cote d'Azur. Many good restaurants, bars and cafes are in easy walking distance (10 mins) in the traditional Provencal village, Biot, so there is no need to have a car.

The one bedroom apartment advertised here (FR23173) belongs to me. It was a dream come true for me when I took delivery of it in 2013. I love living in France and Scotland. I am interested in history, heritage and culture, particularly historic towns and cities.

The two bedroom apartment advertised here (FR24952), is situated directly above my apartment and belongs to Erik Solheim and family. I met Erik when we took delivery of our apartments and I now handle the UK bookings for Erik who lives in Norway.

Remember that for larger parties, you could rent both apartments together.

Great Apartment in a Great Location

We have staying locally before, but this time wants to stay in our favourite location village of Biot. The apartment is excellent, modern with everything you will need. Zoe and Sarah who made all the arrnagements were great and always responded to any queries we had.

Having stayed in the area before, it was great to be able to walk slowing into the main village and have a meal and drink some Rosé! We will be back!!!

A great location to explore the cote d'azure

Erik's apartment is clean and as described in the details. The booking was managed efficiently by Zoe and we were met on arrival by Sarah. It was good to know that there was someone on hand should we have needed them.

It is in an ideal location for spending time on the Cote d"azure and exploring the wider region. Having a garage is a real bonus if you have a car with you. The balcony with a view to the Mediterranean was superb.

Biot village itself is very close on hand, it really is a very special place to visit and we found ourselves wanting to come back to spend time there each evening. There are a great selection of places to eat, we particularly enjoyed the food and atmosphere in Le Cafe de la Poste.

We are already thinking about the next time we visit.

Fabulous apartment in superb location

Extremely comfortable, clean and well managed apartment equipped with everything one would need for a relaxing stay. Air con was a blessing and the balcony was large enough for outside dining with a lovely view. Pool was great. Minutes walking distance from Biot old town. Excellent bus service to Antibes with good connections to trains etc. local beaches easily accessible by car or bus. Biot is a great location for exploring the Cote D'Azure.

Very nice flat and location

We had a great stay in Biot in a very nice and new flat. The location is excellent and very close to Nice airport, Antibes and Cannes.

Biot is worth visiting, nice surroundings, many cozy resturants and a good startingplace for cycling and walking.

We will certainly come back to this beautiful village.

From the Owner

Erik and his family decided to buy here because they love this area of the south of France and because there is so much to do here. You can enjoy the convenience of being only about half an hour from the airport and a bus ride of about 5km to Antibes and its beaches. Or you can explore over the hills to Valbonne, Grasse, St Paul de Vence....or just stay around Biot and walk to many first class restaurants and bars here. Life revolves around the square which is quintessentially French, with tables and chairs set in the shade of the plane trees, surrounded by cafes and the boulangerie. There is a small well stocked supermarket near the square and a market on Tuesdays. With so many local restaurants and bars, there's no need to argue about who is going to drive home!

Activity and Interests


The nearest beach is 3.5 kms away at Plaine de la Brague and the nearest sandy beaches are in Antibes (5.5kms). Very convenient access by car or bus from outside the apartment.


Nice Airport is just 20-30 minutes away (depending on traffic). Hire a car or take the bus to get to Biot. The residence is extremely well located on a local bus route - there is no need to hire a car. You can use the local bus to easily connect with the train which runs along the Cote d'Azur, giving you options to visit, for example, Cannes, Nice, Villefranche, Beausoleil and Monte Carlo.


The location is very convenient as you are within walking distance to everything you need in Biot (5 minutes) and a short drive from Antibes (5.5kms), Valbonne, Nice Airport and Cannes. There is no need to have a hire car as the public transport is excellent. The bus stop is very close to the residence and there is a regular bus service to the railway station where you can take the train along the Riviera to Nice and Italy.

Further Details:

Biot village provides everything you need for day to day life. There is a small super market close to the Square as well as a wonderful boulangerie as well as a bank, post office etc. Biot market takes place every Tuesday where you can buy local cheese, meat and bread. There are more shops at Biot 3000, at the foot of the hill. The nearest Carrefour is on the way to Valbonne and there is a convenient Carrefour superstore on the outskirts of Anitbes, close to the M8 peage.

Booking Notes:
I will send you a booking form to complete to confirm your booking. We ask for a non refundable deposit of 25% of the rental fee to secure your booking. The balance is payable at least 8 weeks before your holiday. There is also a fee of E70 for final cleaning and a refundable security deposit of E300 - both due 7 days before arrival.

We try to be flexible but we encourage you to choose a weekday arrival/departure please. Please contact me to discuss your preference. We will do our best to help.

Notes on prices:
The rental price includes linen and towels and the apartment is professionally cleaned before your arrival. You will be met by my on site manager who will be available by phone and email to answer any queries during your stay, and meet you on departure to collect the key. There is an additional charge of E60 for final cleaning and we ask for a refundable security deposit of E300 which will be returned to you within 48 hrs of departure. All payments on line please.

Erik and his family love their apartment and live in it for several weeks each year. it has been carefully furnished in a distinctive, Scandinavian style and has a fabulous kitchen complete with wine fridge for afficionados and a nespresso machine for coffee lovers. I think you will find this is a very stylish and spacious apartment with a stunning view of the valley and the mediterranean sea. There are many fantastic restaurants and bars within a few minutes walking distance (including one with a michelin star) so you can enjoy the best of the South of France even without a car. This is the perfect place for anyone looking for style, luxury and convenience combined with a traditional Provencal lifestyle on the the Cote D'Azur.
