This luxury Villa is located in a private and peaceful urbanisation in the hills between Fuengirola and Mijas. The beautiful and picturesque White washed village of Mijas Pueblo is less than 1km away and has all the local amenities of shops, supermarkets and some fantastic bars and restaurants.

The Villa is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, but if you would like to do more then Mijas, Fuengirola and the Beach are all very close nearby.

Also within the vicinity are lots of fantastic golf courses, a zoo, 2 water parks, 2 cinemas showing english language movies, 3 shopping malls, selwo animal park, selwo marina, Tivoli world and many many more things to do. A list of which will be provided for you at the Villa.

Staying closer to home, the property itself benefits from its exclusive huge swimming pool measuring 14metres by 8 metres, equipped with sun beds and sunshades. There's an assortment of equipment for you and your children to play with in the pool and gardens as well. Including bats, balls, badminton net and rackets, volleyball net, water pistols and much more. And for those of you with small children, there is a key code safety gate to deny access to the pool area should you wish to keep your children away from the pool at any time.

There's also a fully equipped games room and a commercial grade gym in the house should you not be content with just relaxing in the sun. Along with a ping pong table and trampoline in the top floor garden.

As you can see, the Villa is equipped with everything that you could possibly need to turn your holiday into a dream holiday for you, your friends and family.

My parents have had a home here since 1981, so Spain has always felt like a second home to us. And it's been amazing to watch the transformation of the costa del sol in those 30 something years. We love the family life here, and truly consider this a fantastic place to live and visit.

Why Grant Comley chose Mijas area

We built this Villa in 2008 so that we could move our 3 small children away from the London for a more peaceful and family life. After searching the coast we settled on the beautiful area of Mijas. It ticked all of our boxes. The area is indeed beautiful, and is very peaceful as well which was a big plus for us after many years of living in a big city. But with Mijas and Fuengirola less than 5km away, with their fantastic bars and restaurants. It meant we could still enjoy a busier lifestyle as and when we wanted to. It's worked out perfect for us, and we have fallen in love with the spanish way of life. And I'm sure once you've experienced it on your holiday, that you'll come to love it yourselves.

Great family holiday

My family and I spent a week in September 2016 at the villa. We were 8 adults and 4 children under the age of 2.

We had an absolute blast. The villa had EVERYTHING. The pool was fantastic, the kitchen fully equipped, large living area space, lovely terrace with large dining table. The bedrooms were very comfy, plenty of bathrooms and added bonuses such as ping-pong and pool tables. Grant had a wide selection of board games to play, Sky TV and bluetooth speakers to play music from the living room.

Can't think of any problems or faults with the house. Grant was very friendly and helpful in terms of his local knowledge for things like restaurant recommendations and local shops.

Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for comfort for large groups, especially if there are young children. The area is very quiet at night so perfect for relaxation. Each room has air-conditioning in case you are thinking of going in the warm summer months.

Our only problem was that we could've happily stayed another week!

Big Villa Big Pool Big Family

Ideal. Spacious. Clean. Solid. Plenty to do inside and out. The owner, Grant, is exceptional. Knowing that he was not far away gave that extra confidence if we needed to ask anything (we didn't). I will try to augment what has already been said in previous reviews. Top spec kitchen and furnishings. Comfortable beds. Bunks bigger than expected. Plenty of room for food and drinks in the fridges. Lovely wine glasses. Loads of books and plenty of games if too hot or raining. Similar properties nearby yet fairly private and all built on a slope so steep windy road back up to the village (well worth a visit but we wimped out of walking it) and several steps from the front entrance to the house and pool. So take care if you use a walking aid or have enjoyed the Spanish wine! Views from the back are of the sea in the distance and a small track on the other side of a gap in houses which we could watch our children setting off to play football nearby (they discovered a field) and horse riders and a few people from time to time. It was very quiet (October) and hardly any traffic. We were a mixed family and friends ranging in age from 12 to 58. Plenty of room for 14 people (there were 13 of us - three couples, two sisters and brother, two cousin brothers and one male and one female teenager) and we had to consider sleeping arrangements carefully (boys/girls/teenagers) because of the rooms and beds. The en suite shower was dramatic - we nicknamed it Niagra. Children voted the Pool number 1 and the Pinball Machine No 2. Good internet connection which was able to support multiple users with apparent ease. Definitely would recommend.

Fantastic spacious villa

We had a great relaxing holiday with family and friends in Mijas. Villa was as stated in listing and in many respects the pictures don't do it justice.

Pool was ideal size for villa and must be one of the biggest villa pools in the area. Ideally situated to get sun most if the day.

Villa was spotless and had everything you need to make your stay most enjoyable.

Grant (owner) was first class from first enquiry to time it was ready for us to leave. Couldn't have been more helpful.

Loads of great restaurants and small vars in mijas peublo at reasonable prices. Favourites were secret garden and the village bistro.

We used taxis to go into town as it was a 25 minute walk uphill. Their service was fine and no problems whatsoever, alternative would be to hire a car.

Absolutely recommend villa.

Amazing

What an amazing villa in a wonderful location. The villa exceeded our expectations and more, Every home comfort you could wish for. The villa is safe and secure for children and there is plenty for the kids to do with the pool and the games room. Grant was fantastic and very imformative and very patient with the many questions we had before our arrival . Will return again in the future for sure.

Great villa, everything you need

Just came back from a most enjoyable holiday. The villa was absolutely perfect, had everything we needed. I would recommend this villa to anybody who has a large family. The location is good but I dont think much of the local beach so its a good job the pool is nice.

The beautiful and picturesque white washed village of Mijas pueblo is located less than 1km away. It has all the local amenities of shops and supermarkets, and also has some fantastic bars and restaurants. The village is a lovely place to visit, whether it's for some local tapas, or to have a look around the village Bullring and other historical sites. And the views of the coast and mediterranean sea from the old ramparts are breathtaking, and are a must see.

Mijas also has its fair share of festivals. On the 2nd or 3rd weekend in May there is the international feria. There are stalls from countries all around the world offering traditional food and drink and has a great party atmosphere. Normally around the 23rd or 24th of June there's La Noche De San Juan. This is to celebrate the longest night and beggining of summer, and at midnight there is a fantastic fireworks display. There's the Blues festival between the 4th and 6th of july. And the village's Feria (fair), is there in the second week of september.

The villa is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, but if you would like to do more then fuengirola and the beach are under 5km away. Along wih it's amazing nightlife, bars and restaurants. And if you wish to venture further afield, then Marbella and Malaga are just a short drive away. Both offer fantastic shopping and dining experiences, and are great to visit for the day.

Also within the vicinity there are some fantastic golf courses. Most of which are within a 20 to 30 minute drive. There's also Fuengirola zoo, 2 water parks, 2 cinemas showing english language movies, 3 shopping malls, Selwo marina, Selwo animal park, a crocodile park, go karting and many nother things to see or do on your holiday.
