Stunning Barn nr. Sennen. Beautifully renovated in 2014.

Updated: 28-Sep-2016
Barn Conversion nr. Sennen, Cornwall, England - Peaceful Location On A Farm, 10 Minutes Drive To Sennen Beach, 30th Jul-6th Aug now free.

Gwenmenhir is a beautiful granite barn conversion and family home. In 2013/2014 we gutted the barn and took it back to 4 walls and completely re-furbished the interior. It has a hand built bespoke kitchen, 2 stunning bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, lovely porch/conservatory which catches the evening sun, a wood burner, underfloor heating and large landing windows upstairs with amazing views. It is peaceful here with no light pollution or traffic noise. It is incredibly well insulated and all the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality.

About the Owner

I'm Caroline Davey and I live here with my husband Frank and our 3 children: Ella (12), Jed (8) and Sam (3) and our dog, Molly, and cat, Ninja!

I run a wild food cookery school called Fat Hen here (www.fathen.org) and my husband is a G.P in St Ives.

We love the outdoors and this part of Cornwall is fantastic for surfing, running, cycling and walking. The walks and trail running routes you can find here are absolutely stunning and the ancient sites are wonderful. It's one of the wildest parts of Cornwall with great windswept landscapes and majestic coastal cliffs.

We are renting two properties this summer E18708 and E16222. If you rent them both together you can sleep 10 here.

Perfect holiday home

We had the pleasure of spending our holidays here and would highly recommend it. Such a stunning property with a warm and comforting vibe. The setting is blissful overlooking fields of cows and a stones throw to the dramatic Lands End whilst only a short drive to the bustling Penzance.

This part of Cornwall is wild and rugged and if you love nature and the coast this is the place to come. There are walks straight from our door to ancient sites and stone circles. We are only a few miles from the coast and located in a great place to explore the area.
