Villa in Quessoy, Saint Brieuc, Cotes D'Armor, Brittany, France - Rural Location 10km From The Beach At Baie Hillion

Set in a small village,being tranquil, private and secluded our traditional detached Maison Bretonne is located between the picturesque villages of Quessoy & Yiffinac which offer superb local facilities including supermarkets, boulangerie, bars & restaurants within 4km. The property is an ideal base from which to explore Brittany, and is on a generous plot with a secure private south facing garden and off road parking, with adjacent wood land and backing on to an open field.

It is 10km from the city of Saint Brieuc and 15 km from the beaches of the Baie de Saint Brieuc, Les Rosaire, Le Val Andre and 20km to Erquy Cap Frehel. The ferry ports of St Malo (1.0hr) and Roscoff (1.5hr) are also within easy reach.

The house can accomodate 2 families and the property layout reflects this.

The traditional kitchen breakfast room has seating for 6 and is fully equipped to cater for 8 people. Amenities include gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, coffee percolator and fridge. From the kitchen enter the large sunroom through frenchdoors to enjoy extra seating for 8 people overlooking the south facing secluded garden.

Basement utility room with washing machine, freezer, iron & ironing board

Living Rooms:

Dual aspect open plan lounge dinning room with doors opening on to generous sun-room. large sofa and 2 armchairs, wood burner, large dinning table seats 8 people. Wifi, Large flat screen TV with English/French channels, DVD player.

Other:

Full width sun-room overlooking secluded south facing garden with large table which seats 8 people and a Sofa bed

Entertainment:

A large flat screen tv with English satellite Freeview and French terrestrial channels available, dvd player, stereo radio and cd player, free wi-fi internet access.

Garden and Outside:

The property is set on a 1058 msq secluded mature plot with south facing rear garden with open field beyond. Adjacent and to one side of the property is a small woodland. The garage and all out buildings will be locked and are not part of the rental agreement but, ample off-road parking is available on the private driveway.

Visitor Suitability:

The house is marketed to accommodate 2 families and the property layout reflects this. This property is not suitable for disabled access.

Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge (beach towels are not supplied)

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage last year.The friendly owner Martine was there to hand us the keys personally and she gave us heaps of useful information about the surrounding area, along with a welcome hamper contains local produce.

We took our children who loved the large garden.

Would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone inteerested in this area.

This property is in a quiet, hamlet and provided for an excellent location to explore the Cote d'armor beauty. Being less than an hour from St Malo and Dinard Airport, opportunities abound for discovering the backwater villages, beaches and scenic headlands of this rugged coastline.

Great unspolt location

Very comfortable and plenty of room there were 8 of us 5 over 6foot 2 inches . The location was great and thoroughly enjoyed Pleneuf and Moncarton was a must . Martine is lovely and everything was clean and fragrant would definitely recommend

Lovely house in a good location for exploring all parts of Brittany.

Property has everything you could possibly need for a great stay, plenty of space, extremely comfortable and very well equipped.

Would highly recommend.

Martine could not have been more helpful, speaks fluent English and has definitely developed an English sense of humour!!

Superior quality holiday accommodatiom

This is easily the best French holiday home we have stayed in. It's beautifully presented with quality decor and fittings and the large south-facing garden is real sun trap. Loads of room, plenty of space to store your belongings and an extensive range of kitchen equipment. What makes this special is that Martine (the owner) takes great pride in making sure you enjoy your holiday. She is on the end of a phone line (or email) throughout your stay if you need help, but doesn't interfere.

You can guess by this review that we had a great time in Brittany and probably stayed in more than usual as the weather was good and the house was a home-from-home.

Would definitely recommend it.

Holiday balances are taken 8 weeks before the start of the holiday together with a refundable 147£ security deposit. Changeover Day:
Arrival is from 4pm onwards and we ask that guests vacate the house by 10am on the morning of departure. Changeover day is on Saturday in Jun ,July and August when a seven-day minimum stay applies. During the shoulder months we offer a five-day minimum stay and flexible changeovers.
