About Paulette Copps

I live in Surrey 30 miles from London .I travel extensively for my job so when i am at home i like to head for the coast. My family and many friends live along the south coast. My free weekends are spent walking along the beach , whether it be sunny and warm or a windy winter day .Both give me as much pleasure.

Paulette Copps purchased this chalet in 2014

Why Paulette Copps chose Christchurch

One sunny Bank holiday i decided to head for Christchurch.I had not visited this area since i was a child. I drove through the New Forest which is quite beautiful and found myself at Mudeford. The Jurassic Coast is truly stunning. After spending the day on the beach i walked along the Promenade and saw a for sale sign . I decided to buy my little piece of Heaven by the sea .The rest is history.

What makes this chalet unique

The lodge sits a stones throw from the beach . A private gate takes you on to the Promenade. I love that i can walk 5mins and sit and have a coffee watching the sea or read a paper .I can sit on my deck with a glass of wine with the view of pastel painted beach huts. I visit as often as i can as i truly find i can unwind and relax and leave the City behind.

Luxuary Lodge in a Fantastic location!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful week in The Lodge. The interior was immaculate and well equipped. Access to the pool was great for the kids and the proximity to the beach and Quay is great. Would definitely recommend to families!

Fabulous luxury lodge next to the sea

  • 5 of 5

Had an amazing time at the Lodge. Sandhills is a very high end caravan park with great facilities and is situated in a great position next to the sea. We stayed with our two daughters, aged 6 and 8 for a long weekend and once we had arrived we didn't need to move the car again. The outdoor swimming pool is heated to 27 degrees and was warm enough to swim in in late April when the weather was only 11 degrees outside. The toddlers pool is a lovely 30 degrees also so it is like sitting in a hot tub. The club house looked very nice and had a bar and an entertainment space, a pool table and a small gym.

The Lodge was beautifully furnished like a designer flat really and had plenty of room for all of us. All of the fabrics and cooking utensils were very high quality and the lodge provided everything we needed for our stay.

The amazing Noisy Lobster restaurant is a short 2 minute walk away and is well worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner followed by a stroll along Avon beach. In the other direction is Mudeford Quay which is perfect for a spot of crabbing. There is also a pub located here (although children are only allowed to dine outside) a café and a fish shop selling the catch of the day. From the end of the Quay you can take the small ferry across to the spit where hundreds of gorgeous beach huts are located. This is a lovely location with a great beach with views across to the Isle of Wight. There is also a little train that takes you up to the visitor centre at Hengistbury Head and then you can have an amazing walk up to the top to take in the great views and slowly walk back down to the spit.

All in all we had a wonderful stay and hope to return and highly recommend the Lodge for anyone with children looking to have a relaxed stay next to the beach with plenty to do whatever the weather.

Amazing location, site, weather and lodge

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing three days in the lodge and luckily had great weather throughout. It's perfect location means a short walk to a good pub one way along the beach (with great crabbing sites along the way) and a short walk the other way to the Noisy Lobster restaurant.

Perfect beaches and great site, the heated pool was definitely a plus. The lodge was immaculate, with washer, dishwasher and even the selection of DVD's were a bonus.

We will defiantly be booking again and will be recommending the lodge to friends.

This lodge is very well equipped, comfortable & cosy. The lodge is in a very good position at Sandhills with a very short walk to the beach and some very nice walks. Paulette provided a first class service making the booking of her lodge a pleasure.

Gorgeous lodge!

  • 5 of 5

We have had a wonderful time in this fabulous lodge. Literally a stones throw from the beach, the setting is beautiful.

The lodge is perfectly equipped with everything you need for your stay. The decoration and personal touches from the owner make the lodge feel welcoming and homely.

We had full use of the facilities - the swimming pool was lovely and warm (even though the weather was nippy for May!) Our children really enjoyed the board games provided and having the beach so close!

I would thoroughly recommend this lodge and we hope to be back again soon!
