Very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We spent a weekend at the cottage with family and friends. We all loved the place. It is huge and can accommodate 8 people with its 3 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms. The location is very convenient, just about 5-10 min walk down to the harbour. There is a local grocery just around the corner. We had a very comfortable and cosy stay; the cottage was warm, the kitchen was fully equipped, the internet was working perfectly. The orangery was a pleasant place to sit in. Also, the owner was very polite to send us back a scarf that we left in the house. We would definitely love to stay again if we go to Salcombe.

A lovely house in a delightful location

  • 5 of 5

A group of 10 friends and I had a wonderful weekend at Shellseekers celebrating my forthcoming wedding. The house is big enough to fit lots of people but has been decorated in such a nice way that it feels cosy and intimate. The view down to the sea is lovely and the garden is a real added bonus.

The house is perfectly located for a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Salcombe and is also a great base to explore the surrounding areas.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend, we will definitely be back!

Comfy base for exploring the area

  • 4 of 5

What a lovely and loved home. Plenty of space to spread out, fully equipped with everything we needed. On a cold wet day the hot water bottles were so comforting - thank you! Ideal base for exploring Salcombe and the beautiful surrounding countryside. We look forward to a return visit.

A great base for a holiday in Salcombe

  • 4 of 5

My sons ( 19 and 21) and I stayed in this lovely house for a week. It was comfortable, well positioned and equipped with every thing we needed. We especially enjoyed that as well as plenty of bedrooms there are several rooms downstairs so we could relax and have our own space when we wanted, So many places these data are "knocked through" to make it spacious but this house had lots of different rooms each with a different feel , the cosy lounge the sunny conservatory, the outside deck and the the dining room . It suited us really well.
