About the Owner

Living locally in Devon we purchased the property in 2012. We have made sustantial improvements to the house which is also our holiday home. This includes fully equipping the kitchen to ensure visitors have all that they might need.

We love Boscastle and the surrounding area, particularly the ease of walking to all the facilities in the village.

Kevin and Maureen.

Lovely cottage

Lovely, clean and welcoming cottage in the picturesque village of Boscastle. Within easy walking distance of several nice pubs. Parking was easy to arrange.

The hamper pack was a nice touch.

Many thanks

Perfect little get away....

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic few days in Boscastle... there is so much to do just in & around the village, fantastic cliff top walks & we would recommend the inland walk past Minster Church, as you also go past all 3 pubs! Would definitely visit the Cobweb & the Wellington for dinner & all pubs are dog friendly.

The cottage is gorgeous, lovely furnishings, really comfy & has everything you need... it's a short walk to the village but up a hill on the way back... This was no problem as hills are everywhere & makes you feel better about all the cream teas!!

Just a little tip, definitely organise the car parking pass, as it makes it really easy to park up right by the cottage, but ring before you get to Boscastle as there's absolutely no phone signal (Vodafone) & both payphones were out of order! The chap in the visitor centre let me use their phone in the end... Also avoid arriving at 3ish like we did as you meet all the school traffic near the cottage...

You can't fail to have a fab time there... enjoy!!

Fantastic mini break in beautiful Boscastle

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful few days at this super cottage.

Everything was perfect. We loved the quality of the fittings, toiletries and

the owner's obvious attention to detail - a nice touch was the welcome basket,

Tilly loved the treats and we loved the wine, biscuits and marmelade!

Boscastle was the perfect base - the dog walk along the Valency trail became

a favourite, my husband ran along the coastal path and we ate at the

Wellington Arms on our final evening - although the well equipped kitchen

was a pleasure to be in!

We have recommended this cottage to our family and friends!

We had such a wonderful few days at this super cottage. Everything was perfect. We loved the quality of the fittings, toiletries and the owner's obvious attention to detail - thank you too for the welcome basket, Tilly loved the treats.

Boscastle was the perfect base - the dog walk along the Valency trail became a favourite, my husband ran along the coastal path and we ate at the Wellington Arms on our final evening - although the cottage's well equipped kitchen was a pleasure to be in! Despite the rather damp weather (Boscastle has form for this...!), we really enjoyed our stay and have recommended this cottage to everyone!

Perfect!

Came for a long weekend and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. The house has everything you could wish for including a lovely welcome basket with local goodies, all the creature comforts you could wish for and fab location. Easy to explore everywhere and plenty of pubs and places to eat within a short walk. We will be back later in the year for a longer break.

Fabulous and perfectly positioned cottage

  • 5 of 5

Wow what an amazing find!! This little gem was halfway down the hill perfect for walking down to the harbour to eat each evening. It was so cosy and equipped so well. We visited so many lovely places during our stay ie Clovelly, Bude, Tintagel and Newquay. The owner was so easy to contact and even left us a welcome pack of goodies - how thoughtful. Louie our labradoodle enjoyed his stay too and was made welcome in the pubs and restaurants we visited in Boscastle. We returned to the old manor in the town the night before we left where the chef had specially made a white choc cheesecake (even though it had been replaced on the menu) because I had enjoyed it so much several days earlier!!! What amazing customer service. You must stay here, its so comfy and homely we didn't want to leave xx p.s bed is sooooo comfortable
