As we pulled up at the lodge-WOW was the word that came to mind... since then

we have experienced glorious weather, wildlife on the door step, walks along the coast and towns. whiskey and wine need we say more, we were totally relaxed and the hottub is fabulous, a great time , we hope to return.

Nick & Sarah Smith 28/10/13

We've had a great time , Hammered the trails and no big crashes( which is a first). Hot Tub was great especially on the clear star-gazing nights.

Julie & Ritch Hastie 10/8/13

cosy, comfortable, wel equipped lodge. in quiet relaxing surroundings, had a lovely week with our two boys. Lots to do with the family, added bonus with the Hot Tub, Hope to return.

Good

The house was very cosy and well kitted out but the hot tub was disappointing as none of the jets worked and I wasn't informed of this before paying to use it.

Also, the TV didn't work properly and we couldn't access the sky channels. If both of these things could be fixed, I would definitely recommend it to others

Owner's Response: Really sorry to hear about the hottub, I check all this before any bookings . The jets work fine but I see some of the lights have stopped working so have ordered new ones . The sky has a parental control but the code for this is in the lodge , thank you for your review and we take onboard your comments

Amazing

Just what we needed after a tough few months. Lots of R&R and hot tub was great. A bit isolated, maybe for some people, great for us

Great property

  • 5 of 5

We just spent a weekend at Woodburn Cottage, and had the most relaxing, and stress free weekend. The cottage was spotless, with everything you would need to have a successful break. Great kitchen, lovely decking, fantastic bathroom, beds to sink into. sky tv, internet access, and that hot tob. Did not want to get out of that, And to top it all off, we had great weather. We cant wait to go back.
