As we pulled up at the lodge-WOW was the word that came to mind... since then

we have experienced glorious weather, wildlife on the door step, walks along the coast and towns. whiskey and wine need we say more, we were totally relaxed and the hottub is fabulous, a great time , we hope to return.

We've had a great time , Hammered the trails and no big crashes( which is a first). Hot Tub was great especially on the clear star-gazing nights.

Absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. The facilities are great, especially the hot tub which could be used anytime. Lovely walks nearby and a beautifully starry sky. Thanks for a lovely relaxing break!

Superb quiet location.Lovely and clean accomodation

  • 5 of 5

This lodge is decorated to a very high standard and is kept very clean.

Just like Home from Home as anything you need is there for you.

Hot tub was warm for our arrival and was well used.

The biggest bonus was the Dark Sky. Never knew so many stars existed.

Hope to visit again next year.

We have stayed several times at one of Nigels lodges and absolutely love it. Its warm & cosy and the hot tub is brilliant, even when its cold outside. Already booking again for next year.

Peaceful and relaxing a place to kick back and completely chill out.

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing lodge. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The lodge is finished to an extremely high standard and spotless inside. Outside the hot tub is just the icing on the cake. Looking out onto woodlands during the day it's a picture perfect view. At night you can lay back and see the sky come alive with views of many constellations. I even caught a shooting star on our last night. The surrounding area is perfect for long walks or mountain biking. A local farm shop a 5 minute drive away or a large supermarket 15 minutes for those forgotten items. It's a perfect location. Fantastic communication with the owners. Thank you Nigel and Heather we will definitely be back.
