5 star stay!
Brilliant stay! An absolute gem found and recommend everyone to stay. Close to amenities, a quick stroll along the river to the city centre and a wee pub around the corner for a quick pint. The cottage was in great condition with a surprising amount of space. Huge back garden and Gregor was one of the most helpful hots we have ever had. If you want some gorgeous places to visit with a short drive from Inverness then Gregor is your man - I’ll be back :)

Lovely cottage, great location
The property is clean and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay there. It has good internet connection and Netflix. The cottage is located about 10 -15 minutes away from the centre and bus station. There are lots of restaurants around and a supermarket is just behind the corner. The property owner was very helpful and promptly assisted with our queries.

Lovely house, perfect location
The house was lovely, everything we needed. Gregor was a great host and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. It’s a nice looking cottages from the outside, and once inside, The bedrooms were all good size and the whole house was well equipped and nicely furnished. The garden was also lovely to have and sit out in. It’s really conveniently located, an easy stroll into the city centre, but also easy to find from the main roads in and out. We had a great weekend.

Everything you need in a central location.
Went us 3 adults. One couple and a friend to go walking. Cottage has everything you need and more. Very central location. Gregor is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The fridge was stocked with essentials which we hadn’t realised he would do. It was very comfortable to relax in the cottage in the evening after a long day out or just be able to walk a short distance to a variety of eating places. Would book again without hesitation.

Great property, ideal location for exploring the city
Stayed here with 4 friends. Cottage is very well equipped, spacious and clean, and beds were comfy. Location is perfect, right next to the river and a few minutes walk into the city centre, about 10 mins walk to bus and rail stations. Our host Gregor was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Host profile image
My name is Gregor and grew up in the area before moving to Edinburgh and beyond for study and work. I returned to the area in 2010 after tiring of city life. I am now full time involved in holiday lets, tours for guests and bike hire and transport of riders to and back from epic day trips on quiet and beautiful back roads and amazingly beautiful trails through our majestic countryside on electric bikes.

Why they chose this property

I love this house because I have transformed it over the last couple of years, which has been a lot of work but also a labour of love. I love its country feel, its country style kitchen looking out onto the mature garden, the living room with its wood burner for relaxing in front of the fire whilst watching movies or simply enjoying a good book and glass of wine. I may be biased and undoubtedly it has been decorated to my tastes, but it has been decorated with comfort in mind, from the sofa, to the beds, to the fire, to the views from the kitchen window to the garden. Even the walk into town is beautiful along the River Ness over the bridge past the Cathedral to the town centre all in under 5 mins.

What makes this property unique

The Cottage is beautiful with an enclosed back garden for your pets and for relaxing, BBQing and enjoying the wildlife. E mountain bike and road bike hire with personal driver to drop off, pick and guide routes on request or use for tours in 9 seater vehicle for epic day trips to see the Harry Potter Train going over Glenfinnan viaduct before being taken to Fort William to catch train to do the actual journey to Mallaig (an epic day out). Perfect for larger groups with two cottages next door.
