Lovely elegant apartment in Salies de Bearn

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was just as described, well equipped and comfortable. It worked very well for a family of four and we enjoyed exploring the town and the region. We particularly enjoyed a trip to Pau and to the coast near Biarritz to swim in the warm sea. The salt baths opposite were also worth a visit. The owners were very helpful when we had a slight issue with the door keys and we would recommend this property to others.

Relaxing Times

  • 5 of 5

The property was as described and we have no hesitation in recommending to friends and relatives. Its location is a short walk to the town centre where there were a variety of bars, restaurants and shops. Can recommend Cafe des Thermes (at end of road) for a quick coffee or beer and La Grignotine restaurant (in town centre). I am sure we will return.

Holiday in Salies de Bearn

  • 4 of 5

Just back from a relaxing stay in Salies de Bearn. The property we stayed at was nicely decorated, well equipped and centrally located for the town amenties. The owner was very helpful and contacted a vet for me to have my dog checked for my return trip. I would recommend a trip to the spa bath which was just across the road and also Les voisins restaurant which was just a 5 minute walk away. Salies de Bearn was well located for exploring the Bearn and Pays Basque regions.

Holiday Retreat

  • 4 of 5

We spent a very relaxing week in the appartment, which is well equipped and furnished. It is centrally situated both for the town and for places to visit. We very much enjoyed the Thermal Baths and the meals at Café de la Gare. People in the town are very friendly and helpful; We certainly intend to return. The flat was clean on arrival and easy to find.

Lively small town

  • 4 of 5

The apartment in Salies-de -Bearn was spacious and elegant and very well furnished. The only problem was the keys (exterior and apartment doors) which are difficult to operate. The situation of the house (I had the ground floor apartment) is excellent, in the centre of town overlooking the Jardins Publiques, which was the focus of events (and outdoor painting competition) during the July 14th celebrations. There is plenty to see in the small town and many Romanesque churches to discover in the Bearn region

le Jardin

  • 5 of 5

We hired Le Jardin for us and Le Parc for our grown up kids. Both well presented and loads of space in Le Jardin. Salies de Bearn is a lovely little town with very friendly people.

The Thermal baths are a bonus along with some really good country walking paths.
