Barn near Penzance and St Ives
As you drive down the old and slightly bumpy track you really start to feel you have escaped from the real world and can just relax into your holiday. Barn Court is a recently renovated barn conversion set in a truly quiet corner of South Cornwall. When renovated, Barn Court was finished in a very sympathetic way; even the original stone was re-used to re-build, and modern technology has been incorporated with air source under floor heating and plenty of insulation to make it snug in all weather and even solar for the hot water. This property has been really well appointed with real oak floors, log burner, exposed oak beams throughout the property, a large open plan living area with large bi-fold doors leading out to the front garden, where there is a BBQ for your use. There is also a private back garden with children's play apparatus with swing, slide and a climbing frame. Downstairs there is also a good sized utility room with washing machine, sink and a cloak room with WC, this is also a good area to keep the beach kit. There are 3 good size bedrooms which are light and airy and all the rooms have views across the Cornish country side. Upstairs there is also a large modern family bathroom which has a lovely deluxe shower and bath. We can accommodate 6 people, plus there is room for cots in all three of the double rooms.

We are a small family business promoting and managing properties across Cornwall.
Some of the properties are self-owned but, we also manage properties on behalf of friends and neighbours.
These are/were our private homes and we want guests to enjoy using them as much as we do. We also care about the people staying in our properties.

We have stayed in Cornwall for the past 6 years, this is by far the best house we have stayed in. Perfectly placed in a wonderful area. The only regret is we didn't get a chance to light the log fire.
Lovely cottage. Beautiful wood beams and wood floors. We explored the Lizard and Land End area. The children enjoyed Godrevy Head seeing the seals in a gorgeous little cove, and also the sandy beaches. Lovely fishing villages and walks all around. Thank you

Activity and Interests
The closest beach is Eastern Green Beach in St Ives, which is dog friendly. A perfect beach for taking your dog for a good walk as at low tide it can be 1.5 miles to the sea. There is no life guard cover on this beach so not perfect for swimming.
Porthcurno beach is well worth a visit, it has beautiful white sand and also has life guards in the summer so its good for a dip!
Porthmeor beach in St Ives is a stunning beach with life guard cover. No dogs allowed in the summer.
As Barn Court is very rural a car is essential.
Newquay Airport is 45 miles.
Penzance train station is a 15 minute drive away.

The nearest pub is called the Cold Streamers and is in Gulval about 1.5 miles away. Good food at reasonable prices. This is also the closest place to get free WIFI.
40 minute drive from Minack Theatre.
20 minute drive from St Michael's Mount.
30 minute drive from St Ives.
35 minute drive from Lands End.
The closest shop is Tescos which is just 2 miles away.

We take bookings all year round and we ask for a 30% deposit to secure the booking. We also ask for the final payment three months before your stay along with a returnable damage deposit of £200.
Our change over day through peak times (Easter through until September) is a Saturday.
However over the quieter months we can be flexible, please just get in contact so we can discuss.

- Notes on accommodation: We accept 2 well behaved dogs at this property but there is an extra charge of £25 per dog and this has to be agreed in advance. Outside: There is plenty of room outside both at the front and the back. In the private back garden there is a children's play apparatus including a slide, swing and climbing frame. In the front garden there is a grassed area and also a paved area for your BBQs. Garden furniture is provided. We have 1 designated parking spot out side the front of the property but also plenty of parking just next to the property. Utility Room: The utility room is located on the ground floor next to the open plan living area and has a work top area with an extra freezer and a washing machine. There is also plenty of room for the beach kit. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen is provided including bath towels and hand towels. Please bring extra towels for the beach.
