Luxury, four bed/four bath, detached villa with private pool and landscaped garden sleeps eight people in comfort. Situated on one of the most prestigious golf developments in Spain – Hacienda del Alamo – this villa is the ideal getaway for large golfing groups and families alike. The villa has a large, landscaped garden which is not overlooked, with extensive terraces and Astroturf surrounding the beautiful, private (12 x 5m) swimming pool. The villa is furnished to a very high standard and includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge, WI-FI, hot and cold air-con, a flat screen T.V with Game Console*, DVD player and a built in barbecue, allowing outside dining while overlooking the green of the signature 12th hole of the golf course. A full sized football pitch, basketball court, bowls green, tennis and padel courts are all within a ten minute walk of the property. The local town of Fuente Alamo has two supermarkets and is only a five minute drive from the resort. The nearby motorway allows quick access to the whole of the Region of Murcia, with cities like Cartagena and Murcia or resorts like La Manga Club and Mar Menor all within a half hour drive from the resort. XBOX 360 games console is optional and provided at extra cost.

Fantastic spacious villa

We had a wonderful stay in this villa. There was far more room than we needed as a family of 4. Everything is finished off to a high standard and the villa was equipped with everything we could have needed. The welcome pack on arrival was a real bonus - thank you! The outdoor area was such a relaxing place to be that some days we didn't leave. The kids loved the beautiful pool and played for hours. The Spaniard Inn was a 10-15 min walk away and the Spanish village with the Sports Bar, Tapas Bar and Restaurant a 5 minute drive. The Mercadona supermarket in Fuente Alamo is a 10 min drive and stocks a great variety of food and drink and very reasonable prices. Further afield there are many places to see and activities of all kinds both water and land based. This was our fourth stay on Hacienda Del Alamo and this villa was by far the best we have stayed in. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic villa!

The villa is spacious, well equipped and has a fantastic outdoor space, with a good size swimming pool. The location of the villa is quiet and not over looked by other properties. A car is a must, as the resort is unfinished and the nearest supermarket is in the town of Fuente Alamo. The management company, MPL, were very efficient with the booking process and also very helpful during our stay. If you are looking for a first class villa, in a quiet location I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic week in home from home villa.

We spend a great week in this villa and had everything we needed, lovely garden and pool. It is quite enough to be relaxing but only a few minutes from bar/restaurants and 5 minutes to supermarket. The Lovells looked after us swiftly when needed.

Delightful Villa peacefully overlooking 11th Green

We enjoyed our stay immensely and the facilities were second to none with perfectly designed pool and comfort throughout the villa.

We played golf which was amazing value for such an excellent course and the greens were maintained in perfect condition. The club house was palatial and welcoming.

A perfect holiday to either challenge the golf course, relax, or visit the lovely surrounding beach resorts, towns and markets.

Special interest holidays:

Ancient culture and wonderful shops and restaurants are available in the Capital city of Murcia only 35mins inland, and the ancient city of Cartagena with its magnificent Roman Coliseum and rejuvenated port, only 20 minutes away.

The Murcia region as a whole and in particular the immediate area within a 30 minute drive from Hacienda del Alamo, contains many especially protected sites for birds and is popular for bird watching. Golden eagles, Griffon vultures, Bonelli eagles, Rollers and Bee eaters can be found to name but a few. A local English speaking guide is available for tours for both singles and parties (bookings and rates through us in advance at time of reservation).

Coast/Beach:

The coastal town of Puerto Mazarron is a 30 minute drive though mountains, with numerous beaches, restaurants, night clubs and shops surrounding the newly built marina.

Mar Menor and La Manga are around 30 minutes drive on the motorway and include secluded beaches with crystal clear water, numerous tourist attractions, bars and restaurants.

Cabo de Palos is a quaint fishing village which still retains old charm, with amazing seafood restaurants and typical Spanish coastal architecture.

Travel:

Please note that car hire is essential.

San Javier airport is under 40 minutes from the resort, while Alicante airport is roughly 75 minutes away.

The port of Cartagena is 20 minutes from the resort and receives the largest cruise ships currently sailing.

Cartagena also has both a bus station and train station.

The city of Murcia (30 minutes) also has both a bus station and train station.

Distances:

Fuente Alamo, the nearest town, is 5 minutes from the resort and includes Supermarkets, shops, banks, bars, clubs and cafés.

Murcia (30 minutes) and Cartagena (20 minutes) are the biggest cities in the region, with culture, art, shopping and restaurants providing all the entertainment and gastronomical needs a holidaymaker could wish for.

For nightlife in the summer we recommend La Manga strip (30 minutes), Mazarron (30 minutes) and Los Alcazares (25 minutes).

Further Details:

The resort includes a selection of bars and restaurants which are within a 10 minute walk from the villa. The Spaniard bar/restaurant offers a place to relax and supplies nightly entertainment, while the restaurant offers a selection of a la carte dishes. The Clubhouse allows amazing vistas whilst enjoying drinks and fine cuisine typical of the region. Also note that The Sports bar is found in a handy position next to the full sized football pitch, allowing quick refreshment after a kick around with the kids.

For avid shoppers both local & international tastes are well served with a visit to: both Cartagena city and the Espacio Mediterraneo shopping mall (20 minutes); Murcia city, Thader and Nueva Condomina shopping malls (30 minutes); and finally a trip to La Zenia Boulevard is recommended (35 minutes).

The Hacienda del Alamo golf resort is a gated, 24 hour security patrolled complex.

The Region of Murcia enjoys a Mediterranean climate of semi-arid type, with mild winters (an average of 11 °C to highs in excess of 16°C in December and January) and warm summers (where the daily maximum regularly exceeds 40 °C). The average annual temperature is 18 °C. The city of Murcia holds the record temperature of the 20th century in Spain. It reached 46.1 °C (115 °F) on July 4, 1994.

The resort is surrounded by the majestic hills and mountains of the Murcia region providing stunning views. The Sierra Espuña regional park/ nature reserve (20 minutes from the resort) provides a raw look at the Murcia regions biodiversity. Its mountains and valleys, woods, plains and hidden villages provide spectacular scenery for casual hikers and mountain bikers alike.
