I'm Jo Weatherill married to Andy and with a 14 year old son Harry. Andy has a son and daughter from a previous marriage and both are all grown up now. We live at North Dockenbush with our ducks, hens, geese, dogs etc and offer B & B in the main house and have a gorgeous holiday cottage for self catering rental.
North Dockenbush provides us with peace and tranquillity and allows us to get away from our busy lives, Andy is a builder - always busy - and I help by doing his admin etc. I had a fairly successful career in marketing until a family tragedy made us rethink and take stock, we made some changes including moving to North Dockenbush and setting up the B & B and cottage - that was only April 2014 so early days!
Jo Weatherill purchased this cottage in 2014

Amazing holiday - the cottage surpassed all of our expectations!
We loved Dockenbush and will be back next year!
Perfect cottage, perfect location our children were in heaven!
Had a really lovely time staying at Dockenbush Cottage with my partner and friends. The cottage is lovely and met all of our needs comfortably. The location is great , lovely and peaceful yet only a short ride from Harrogate and local restaurant/pub. Jo and family made us feel welcome and ensured that we were comfortable. Hopefully we will be back soon.
From the moment we arrived we knew we would love it. From the little touches of flowers on the table, to provisions for the following mornings breakfast, to the bottle of wine and box of biscuits, Jo and her family made us feel very welcome. The accommodation standards are excellent and the cottage is very well equipped. It's setting in a lovely North Yorkshire village is so beautiful but it is still easy to visit York and Harrogate and RHS Harlow Carr. There are some lovely places to eat at nearby, all recommended and well worth a visit. If you are looking for somewhere to stay which enjoys a lovely countryside setting, then this is the place for you. You won't regret it! Our only regret was having to leave! Thank you Jo. Your hard work at creating this idyll was definitely appreciated and we hope to visit you again in the not too distant future.
Lovely, peaceful setting. Easy to get to Ripon and Harrogate. Great pubs nearby. Perfect for a get away. Will be back.
