Detached property in a peaceful location close to Lake Windermere and all it's activities. Fantastic local walks from the door. Sleeping 14/16 in 7 bedrooms all with own TV. 5 bathrooms. Large open plan dining/ lounge with real multi fuel fire, large screen TV and huge covered outside balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Free WiFi available in the property.

Snug area has TV/DVD and numerous books and games.

The modern kitchen boasts a large electric range, washer, 2 fridges, freezer and dishwasher.

This 3 story property also houses further fridges, freezers and a washer/dryer in utility rooms on the middle and lower floors.

Parking on private driveway for approximately 5 cars.

Plenty of storage space within the property for bikes etc in the utility rooms with direct access from outside.

Space to hire hot tubs (please discuss with owner) in the beautiful parkland style garden which also provides seating for 16 on the terrace where you can sip champagne and enjoy the atmosphere and peaceful surroundings.

Fantastic house, beautiful locations, all bedrooms very nice, views fantastic. Would love to return

I stayed with a mixed party of 14 at this property and it was fantastic, the bedrooms were all lovely, the beds comfy, and there were plenty of bathrooms. We did struggle for one period during the day woth not having hot water for a shower, but there were lots of people having their second showers of the day after going kayaking so that was understandable.

The cooking facilities and equipment were high end and everything we were looking for.

The jewel in the crown was the view from the balcony overlooking the lake, which was spectacular.

All in all we had a fantastic weekend and I would return in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Very spacious, beautiful house!

We were 15 adults and 2 children staying for a family birthday! The house was very spacious and perfect for our group, the huge kitchen and large dining table meant we could all eat together and relaxing in the evening was very comfortable.

I'm sure the views from the balcony would have been fab had we not picked the wettest weekend of the year but we're already thinking about a summer stay!!! The location is perfect for getting around the Lakes and very easy to find coming from Kendal way! Perfect family weekend!!

Stunning

Fantastic house in a beautiful setting. 14 adults spent 3 nights here for a celebration weekend and the house had everything we needed. The bedrooms are spacious and the property boasts a large kitchen, dining and lounge area for everyone to come together comfortably. The facilities are spot on and the house was cosy warm for us. Plenty of walks adjacent to the house and only 2 miles stroll into Bowness for those who feel the need to stretch your legs. We spent a great evening at the Brown Horse Inn on the Saturday evening, food was excellent and the staff were brilliant and made our evening special. Would highly recommend this house for large gatherings and you can be assured there is plenty of space for everyone. We did not get the opportunity to sit outside as it was a bit chilly but the views from the lounge were to die for. Only one thing we were missing and that is there was a log burner in the lounge but unfortunately no logs on site. It would be a nice touch to ask guests if they want them provided at an extra charge and to have them available on arrival. Thank you for sharing your home.

Couldn't think of a better house to stay in

I don't usually do reviews but I will make an exception. Superb,spacious house which was clean and truly made our stay in Lake District an awesome one. Lake Windermere can be seen from the Balcony and all the usual hiking, boating hot spots were not too far off either. Missing it already and hope to go back in the future.

We love the feel of our beautiful house at the top of a cul-de-sac in a park situation with views of the lake and of the mountains. Fabulous! Whilst it is on the edge of Bowness-on-Windermere it is only a short walk into town. We just love it!

Available in Bowness-on-Windermere are swimming and spa with massages and fitness facilities. Cookery courses, cinema, theatre, lake cruises, sailing, rowing, fell walking, cycling and shopping are just a few of the activities on offer close by.
