Lovely country cottage, ideally situated

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cottage - clean, well appointed with everything you need and full of charm. So quiet at night but within easy walking distance of Stow's shops and pubs/cafés/restaurants. The card and flowers for our silver wedding anniversary were a lovely, unexpected bonus. Susan was on hand via text for any queries but everything was well explained so we didn't need to call on her. We had lovely local walks through stunning scenery and visited many of the villages and towns within easy driving distance - all offered charm and great shops. The Yellow Brick Café in Moreton-In-Marsh does stunning home made ide-cream!!

Everything we'd hoped it would be....

  • 5 of 5

Excellent 6 night stay in this delightful little cottage. Everything we needed including excellent wIfi connection. Loved being able to walk out to Speedwells for good coffee and bacon sandwiches in the morning. Lots of pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. Best of all wonderful hiking trails. Didn't take the car out until last day. Best walk was from Stow to Bourton on the Water on a beautiful sunny day

Owner's Response: We're delighted that you had such a great time at Woodbine Cottage and enjoyed some of the great walks in the area. There are so many routes nearby, and further afield, with super pubs and restaurants along the way that you can pop into for sustenance.... We hope to have the chance of welcoming you back again in the future if you get chance to visit the Cotswolds again.

Peaceful cottage near the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodbine cottage. It was an ideal location. Very quiet but also near the centre of Stow. It was comfortable and well equipped and so lovely to find milk, tea and biscuits provided. We also enjoyed eating out on the patio.

Charming cottage in the beautiful Cotswolds

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cottage for three nights. It was incredibly charming! My husband loved sitting on the terrace and having his morning coffee. The cottage is well appointed. The location is fantastic! Stow on the Wold is a wonderful village with lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from. The cottage is a short walk to the center of the village and there are charming shops to poke in. In addition, there are several wonderful walking trails that you can access and explore the beautiful area. We did not want to leave. There are two things to note: the stairs really are steep and the doorways upstairs are made for short people--tall folks need to watch their heads. The charm and location definitely are worth it! I would highly recommend this cottage.
