We have always been involved in farming and loved converting our buildings, we did all the design, building and furnishing work ourselves and used locally sourced materials and local tradesmen.

it is in a rural setting but in the middle of Cornwall for an ideal position to explore all parts with out having to travel far.

The Home Barn ....“Stunning and comfortable”

This cottage is ideal for two people who want a spacious living space a comfortable bedroom and a roomy bathroom. It is clean, warm and comfortable. We had friends over for dinner on a couple of nights and the open plan kitchen sitting room is not only spacious but also extremely atmospheric at night as much as it is in daylight. The beautiful wooden conservatory makes this place really special. The view is stunning. Julie, the owner, arranged a Christmas tree and the cottage was ideal for me and Craig. Julie, who lives next door, is very discrete yet available should any problem arise. We had a wonderful time and we would recommend this cottage to anybody.



The Granary ....“Our favourite place to escape to”

This is our second visit to The Granary and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. Julie and Alan have thought of everything to make your stay a perfect and comfortable one. A lovely cream tea and vase of flowers on arrival was a real treat. The cottage is surrounded by scenic countryside and is a real gem of tranquility. You can watch the wildlife in the fields from the comfort of the comfy sofas while looking out of the double doors.

As for the cottage the kitchen has everything you need and is well organised. One of my favourite parts of the cottage is the wet room shower after a day out sightseeing, it was lovely to stand under the big shower head.

As The Granary is 10-15minutes walk to the train station you have easy access to Truro and Falmouth which means you can leave the car at the cottage.

We would highly recommend The Granary for its luxury, peacefulness, it's great location to go out to see the sights and the great value for money.

Many thanks to Julie and Alan for everything and we look forward to returning again in the future.

Peaceful cottage in lovely wooded grounds, ideal for dog owners. The property was fully equipped and John, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Plenty of local walks and in a central location mid way between Truro and Falmouth.

No hesitation! We returned!!

We chose to return to this absolutely beautiful, picturesque little barn.

It’s an adventure getting to the property down the single track road, which, at this time of the year, has its banks covered in snowdrops. You feel away from it all and yet, Perranwell itself is a great hub from which to explore. The pub is very nice too offering locally sourced foods.

The property itself is spotless. It’s décor is current and neutral. Bed and linen is very comfortable and of quality. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is great, having underfloor heating which, for us in January, was a luxury.

With the bedroom and bathroom downstairs ( washing machine\ tumble dryer too), stairs lead up to the kitchen and lounging area. This is a glass extension from where you can enjoy bird life and view the donkeys in the field.

The proprietors are absolutely delightful as is their little dog!

We should absolutely recommend this haven to couples.

Cornwall is a joy to visit. The variety of things to do is endless and due to its size, zigzagging from the North coast to the South etc is easily achievable.

Do try this place, we can’t recommend it more...
