With literally only a few steps from the small harbour sandy beach and just a 5 minute walk from the expansive beaches linking to Bamburgh. It is a perfect setting for a large families or those seeking space and luxury. The property is set in over 5000 Sq Ft on 3 floors with its OWN CINEMA / GAMES ROOM WITH 168'' SCREEN, PRO DOLBY 5.1 3D SURROUND SOUND, For the ultimate viewing or gaming experience !! It has been extensively and tastefully refurbished and has its own gym and a well equipped kitchen.

About the Owner

Hi there, we live in beautiful Northumberland, UK and have 2 children. As they were growing up we always looked for holidays where we had plenty to do but where we were also happy to spend time in our own house. We like a better style living and so the properties we own all reflect this. We have Two large houses which are available for short term (holiday) lets. They have been extensively refurbished and provide a clean, fresh, look and feel. We wanted to provide ample space and luxury for a family to live in while enjoying a holiday. We love spending time in our houses and hope that you will enjoy them too.

"Fabulous place to stay, Our party consisted of 9 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs. We all had a fantastic time at Harbour Hill House. Very clean, very well appointed, lots of room for family meals and also plenty of opportunity to get away from the crowd! The children and adults all enjoyed the cinema room and the games made available. Would definitely go back!"

It is really very hard to fault the accommodation and despite the size of our group there always seemed to be plenty of room in the very spacious and well equipped rooms. Fabulous well equipped kitchen where we could all easily sit around for meals cooked on the large range cooker was a real plus as was the boot room for storing bikes and golf clubs and the sheltered outside enclosed space/terrace to the rear of the property where the pre dinner glass could be taken. Location was perfect with ready access to the town, the beach and wonderful coastal walks. Also there are some excellent golf courses nearby with special mention for Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course at nearby Embleton. The town provides several eating places inc v special fish and chips as recommended by the Hairy Bikers!

Wonderful places to visit nearby like Bamburgh with its magnificent beach and spectacular castle, the mystical feeling of Lindisfarne/Holy Island and Alnwick Castle for the gardens/fountains and the Harry Potter connection.

All in all it was a perfect week and will we come back? You can put money on it!

Oh I forgot the cinema room with controllable but deafening surround sound which was a huge hit with the grandchildren!

The Northumberland coast line is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of golden sandy beaches, Castles and wildlife breeding grounds for grey seals and puffins to name just a few. Gateway to the Farne Islands Seahouses has a busy harbour catering for both a small local fishing fleet and the visitor boats which go to the Farne Islands.

15 miles south is Alnwick Castle with its world famous Garden. Inland are more castles, historical stately homes and fantastic walking. Cycle routes around quiet local lanes or chunks of longer rides like the Coast and Castle route 1 between Newcastle and Edinburgh. All of which make this a county of many faces, there is literally something for everyone, young and old, activity orientated or sightseeing mad there is just loads to see and do here! And we're confident your break won't be long enough to do it all so you'll just have to come back again and again.
