Overview

About the property

Apartment on the beach at Sandbanks - A truly unique location with fantastic views of Poole Harbour, Studland and out to sea

Superb family accommodation for young and old, whether for being active or not! It's a great location for eating, drinking and enjoying life. Ideal for families and grandparents.

It is a wonderful base for a UK seaside holiday, all water sports, fantastic coastal walks and for exploring Dorset; particularly Purbeck and the start of the Jurassic coastline.

Or ... for just staying where you are, going nowhere and enjoying the beach and views.

Bournemouth and Poole town centres are approximately five miles away with excellent shops, restaurants and other entertainments. Even the New Forest is less than 30 miles away.

There are many good restaurants, plus too many pubs, bars, bistros and pizzerias to mention! Rick Stein Sandbanks is a short walk down the beach, the Shell Bay Seafood Restaurant just across the ferry and the Pig on the Beach Studland a longer beach walk away along Shell Bay and Studland beaches (or short bus ride across the ferry!). The Hotel du Vin Poole on Poole Quay is less than 5 miles away.

Fully furnished with fitted carpets, double glazing and central heating.

Located on the second floor of a block of eight flats, serviced by lift and central stairs.

On the sunny side of the block of flats, enjoying superb sunrises (seaside) and sunsets (harbourside).

The seaside and harbourside sitting rooms at both ends of the flat have fantastic views, whether sitting inside or outside on either balcony, winter and summer.

Tremendous at all times of year and weather.

About Wendy Yeatman

The Yeatman family have been at 83 Banks Road since the beginning of the 1900s. My Great Uncle Arch bought the original strip of land, as he loved to go swimming from here.

My grandparents, parents, myself, children and grandchildren have all grown up here, laughed, played and had lots of fun with family and friends ... as we know will future generations!

We love Sandbanks and we like to share the enjoyment of our flat.

Some of our favourite walks are:

Along Sandbanks Beach, across the chain ferry, along Shell Bay and Studland beach, up the footpath to the Bankes Arms pub (in time for lunch !) and back.

Alternatively, drive across ferry and park at the Bankes Arms pub in Studland (at the National Trust car park). Walk along the cliffs to Old Harry, then along the cliffs towards Swanage, then back down the hill back into Studland village.
