Ideal situated and equipped base for a couple

  • 5 of 5

Priced very sportingly, well equipped and ideally located in a thriving village, this apartment is less than a minute from the South facing harbour, a few yards from a great dining pub and close to a grat fish&chip shop. Mousehole itself has a good convenience store, is three miles from busy Penzance (supermarkets and all) and yet seems a century away from the bustle of modern life. Short drives take you to the breathtaking beaches of Sennen and Porthcurno, with Lamorna only a couple of miles away too. The owner and his local management ensured that everything was well communicated, and the apartment itself is comfortable enough for the occasional night in to be a treat in itself. However, with the rugged sweeping beauty of deepest Cornwall all around, who would want to stay in? We had a belting week in this lovely, practical bolt-hole. Highly recommended!

Cornish Gem

  • 5 of 5

Over the years we have visited this beautifully converted Net Loft many times and it has been a welcome retreat from the normal working routine. The owner has always kept this unique property to a high standard and it is equipped with all the necessities and amenities to ensure a comfortable and carefree break. Following the excellent directions provided you will discover the Net Loft located in a quaint courtyard ideally placed in a central location and only a stones throw from the picturesque harbour. Close by is the small but amply filled newsagents/shop and the village boasts several quality eating establishments which together with village pub (The Ship) ensures visitors have a good choice from snacks to a full restaurant menu.

I can highly recommend the Net Loft as the ideal holiday retreat. Stay and enjoy.

Excellent stay at the Netloft

  • 5 of 5

We have had an excellent stay at the Netloft, it was warm, clean and cosy and everything works ! We loved it so much we managed to stay another three days thanks to the owner.

The bedroom is downstairs and is very quiet , the living area upstairs catches all the sun and is very warm and bright. Mousehole itself it really charming and we went out each day to a different village. St Ives is very close and is well worth visiting. We can highly recommend the Netloft, the owner provides all you need to know and is highly professional. So thank you for a lovely holiday.

Our week in net loft

  • 5 of 5

Net loft is a well equipped and cosy holiday home with bags of character giving a real feeling of Mousehole in days gone by.

Centrally located by the harbour it is a stone throw from the post office a couple of coffee shops and of course the famous Ship Inn where both the food and drink are of the highest standard, we spent a good few evenings sat in front of the same open fire that Dylan Thomas was photographed in front of enjoying the local brew.

We met other walkers on there holiday who have visited Mousehole for many years and after a week we could fully understand the draw to return again.

Must sees are the Minak theatre only a few miles away.

Lands end again only 10 miles away.

If you like a walk with stunning scenery the coastal path from Mousehole to Lamona is amust and you must and then treat yourself to lunch in the Lamona wink.

We would like to thank Andy for letting us into the secret of Mousehole a place we will be returning to later this year.

Great, 5 star!

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay, felt very home from home. The Net Loft is very well equiped and cosy, and right in the middle of the action, not that there was a lot the first week of January!. Would highly recommend.

Location

From the Owner

We fell in love Mousehole whilst on a walking holiday in west Cornwall in 2005. There is a great sense of community in the village which is never felt more than during the various carnivals and festivals held in the village throughout the year and of course when the legendary Mousehole Christmas lights are on! When this Net Loft came onto the market in 2007 we decided to seize this rare opportunity to purchase a flat so close to the centre of the village and run it as a holiday let.
