Stunning 2-bedroom apartment in Tenby, Pembrokeshire - Very Central, Perfect For Beaches, Pretty Shops, Bars & Restaurants

What a property and location! No1 Albert View has just been totally renovated and restyled and we are very proud of its new look and layout. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHOTOS ON THIS WEBSITE HAVE NOT YET BEEN UPDATED SINCE THE REFURBISHMENT - WATCH THIS SPACE. This ground floor 2-bed apartment is surprisingly spacious and is conveniently situated next door to our pretty, foodie 'fisherman's' pub called the Hope & Anchor Inn. The apartment is stylish, immaculate, well-equipped and serves as a perfect base for exploring the area. We wouldn't be surprised if you didn't use the car all week - you can walk up Castle Hill to see the property's name-sake Prince Albert & climb on the cannons, scramble up the steps to St Catherine's Fort, dig barricades on Harbour beach to beat the tide, go for fish & chips at Fecci's, visit the amusement arcades for some nostalgia, go crabbing over the Harbour sluice, get a huge breakfast at Dennis Café on Castle beach, or sample a pint of real ale brewed around the corner in our own Brewery & Taproom called HARBWR Tenby Harbour Brewery. These are ALL within 500 yards of your front door. Don't be put off by the proximity of the pub - it is a 'locals'' pub and a community institution! Perfect for the lazy chefs, you can make this your second kitchen & dine out by the cozy fire or order take-outs of great local seafood & home-cooked family meals. In the summer months, there is a lovely cosmopolitan café-culture feel to this area, with no cars allowed, which makes it safe to wander and eat al fresco at the numerous cafes and bars. And just to the rear of the property is a small patio area with BBQ and seating for sundowners after a day on the beach or spent walking the coastal path.

We also own popular foodie-pubs in Tenby, a little gift/bookshop, and a real ale Brewery & Tap Room just off the Harbour, so showing Tenby and its gorgeous offerings at their very best are at the heart of what we do. We love Tenby, and make it our business to make sure you have the best possible time here too.

This cool and highly stylish apartment is the latest to have a total refurbishment by us, and in short we'd quite like to live here ourselves! No 1 Albert View is next to our small traditional fisherman's pub and was an irresistible addition to our little portfolio. A bit like having a pub with rooms, we can offer self-catering accommodation - a stone's throw from the iconic Harbour - but you will also soon build up a relationship with our lovely pub next door and will be dining there or ordering 'take-outs' so you can flop by the tv. Subject to availability, No1 and No2 Albert View (ref 1820417) could be rented out together to accommodate a party of 10 on three floors within the same house.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is super cool and is 50 yards from the iconic Harbour, and is named after the lovely statute of Prince Albert, which is a short 5 min walk up to Castle Hill - with stunning views of the old & new Lifeboat Stations. The Harbour has so much to offer - the cheapest and the ultimate is jumping off the harbour walls at high-tide, with fishing trips and Caldey boat trips bookable and leaving just 3 minutes from your front door. Park your car up in the multi-storey and escape back to your childhood for a whole week.

A huge benefit to this property which sleeps 4 (plus cot) is that it can be let together with our gorgeous 2-floor apartment, No 2 Albert View - an equally stunning property which sleeps 6+. So taking the two combined, Albert View House is Ideal for a family or group of 10+.

Notes on accommodation: One of the notable features of this apartment, apart from its amazing central location, is the fact that it is let-able with No 2 Albert View, a newly refurbished 2-storey, 3-bedroom apartment upstairs, providing family accommodation for 10+ guests. This property is so central that family members will be able to just come & go as they please - pop to the shops, or nip back up from the beach for a nap or for those forgotten items - and you will hardly need the car. Tenby can offer Coast path walks, fishing trips, boat trips to the magical Caldey Island, water-sports - all starting 5 minutes from your front door. Outside: The enclosed garden to the rear is split-level, with a pretty area dedicated to each of No1 & No2 Albert View, with pot plants, bbq, & outdoor furniture. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen is provided; towels are available on request, £7 a person/bundle. Other: Non-smoking throughout. Pets usually allowed on request.

The property was spotlessly clean and Julie, the owner was always on hand to help with any advise we required. The log burner was lovely on the cold winter nights we stayed in, and you would not know that there was an excellent pub next door if we hadn't frequented it on a few occasions ! Will definitely will stay with Julie again. .

New Year Break

We have visited Tenby many times and celebrated New Year there for at least 8 of the last 10 years. This has meant renting an array of apartments and houses.

Julie's property ticks thr boxes. It is essentially at the bottom of the main high street, next door to one of Tenby's great pubs, and a few paces down the gentle hill to the harbour. Location is excellent. Before arriving the communication was great - I arrives at The Hope & Anchor pub where the keys for next door were waiting for me behind the bar. Inside the property was warmly lit, heating on, real Christmas tree in the corner. A thoughtful welcome basket sat on the table with nibbles, coffee, wine - there was even a bag of icecubes in the freezer. We didn't use the outdoor facilities (it being a cold and rainy Christmas period) but out back is a hard slabbed (nicely done and well lit) two tiered patio area. I'd imagine great for a beer and BBQ in the summer. The two bedrooms are at the front of the building so you will hear a little noise from the street outside but nothing too bothersome. I didn't watch any DVDs supplied but there were literally dozens of all genres sitting under the TV.

All in all faultless. Julie was in constant communication with us to see if everything was OK - she even thoughtfully posted some spectacles back home to us that we left behind.

There's a good chance I'll be back

You could spend every day of your holiday on a different, fabulous beach - it's less than 2 minutes' walk to the Harbour & Castle Beach, 6 mins to the North or South beach, & a 20-minute boat trip to the monastic Caldey Island. Harbour Beach was voted best beach in Europe in 2014. Simple car journey to Barafundle Bay, Freshwater East, or Freshwater West (great for dogs & surf), Swan Lake, or even Blue Lagoon (site of the Red Bull Cliff Diving championships) in the north of the County.


Use of the car is recommended but certainly not essential. Tenby Railway Station is an easy 10-minute walk.

Being in town and so near the Harbour, there is no parking at the property but we can advise on the best local car-parks.


There are so many interesting places accessible from Tenby. The stunning castle at Pembroke is just 20 minutes away, as is Laugharne and Dylan Thomas' boat-house. The lovely independent shops in Narberth are 20 minutes away by car, and Haverfordwest town & Carmarthen town are each 35 minutes away and have the nearest cinemas and big brand shops. Caldey Island by boat is a must-do trip when staying in Tenby.

All the local shops & supermarkets are literally around the corner, and we will recommend our favourite local suppliers to you. We can also recommend some great pubs & restaurants - including our own Brewery & Tap Room making and serving award-winning local ales - and a full list will be available at the property. Tenby serves as a great base for exploring the area - Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park (aka Anna's Welsh Zoo), Heatherton Activity Park (a huge day out with lots of family activities), Bluestone Resort & Blue Lagoon Water Park, Oakwood Theme Park, and the whole of the Pembrokeshire Coast, are yours for the taking.
