A truly lovely ground floor (2 bedroom) duplex Apartment, comfortably sleeps 4/5 people (but slightly larger parties can be considered). Situated in the highly regarded and very desirable 'Playa Dor II' private residential complex adjacent to Cala Gran Beach and within a very short walk of Cala d'Ors' many fabulous restaurants, bars and cafes. We have holidayed in Cala d'Or for many years as it is the most wonderful family friendly resort you could ever wish to find, it is genuinely one of the Mediterraneans best kept secrets. Once you discover this place, the chances are you will return again and again, as we have done. Inevitably, we decided to buy our holiday home here, and after years of searching for the right place, we finally found it. If (like us) you crave fantastic food, brilliant bars, beautiful scenery, friendly people, pristine beaches, long sunny days and sultry nights - look no further - it is all here. There is a supermarket very nearby, ideal for bread, milk, water and other essentials. Follow Calle de Conilleras and you will find yourself at 'Mallorcalandia' a haven for children with its huge Bouncy Castles, Trampolenes, Go-karts, etc. Walk a little further, towards Cala Ferrera, where you'll find more restaurants and bars, and another childrens play area as well as the best Mini-Golf you'll ever try.

The owners Lisa & Phil are exceptional for service. Excellent communication and go above and beyond with any enquiries. The apartment is in a great location for the true centre of Cala D'or with the Cala Gran beach and Esmerelda beach within a few mins walk.That said if you are pool people you will not be disappointed. It has wide steps to sit on and a shallow area for younger children.The apartment is on a small gated complex and you literally walk from your patio/terrace 25 yards to the pool, perfect for popping back for lunch! The sunbeds and cushions provided make for a truly relaxing day. The apartment is modern and beautifully tiled throughout. The free wifi is perfect for kids and adults alike! If you ever decide to have a night in from getting ready and going out the full sky package is fantastic to chill and get takeaway pizza's etc from the local Marfil Cafe. We made use of the washing machine half way through the holiday as we brought less and were able to take more things back...souvenirs and alcohol which is way cheaper in resort than duty free ( booze shop on main road cheaper than the Spar). The info pack provided was excellent and gave you lots of recommendations on the many bars and restaurants in the pedestrianised area in the centre of the resort. I would/ have already recommended this apartment as its fills all your requirements for a stay in the "centre" of Cala D'or.

Amazing 2 weeks

We have just come back from an amazing 2 week stay in this lovely apartment.

We have just got married in Cala D'or and stayed in this lovely apartment. It was a short walk in to town and everything was so close by, an amazing location. Phil & Lisa could not have been more friendly and helpful they were always there if we needed something and all the information given was so helpful especially the little welcome amenities when we arrived.

Thank you so much for everything and i would definitely recommend this apartment.

Wonderful break

My partner and I have just returned from a well earned weeks break here. The apartment was spotless and decorated beautifully. Free sky and wifi is all ways a welcome bonus too 😊 Beautiful resturants within walking distance and a visit to the marina is a must. A couple of dull weather days but apart from that a fantastic break will definitely book again, thank you Lisa & Phil you made the holiday even more enjoyable with the welcome pack, detailing local eateries n bars etc. Wonderful 😊😊😊

Fab location

My husband and I have just spent a week at the apartment, with our 2 year old daughter. It was perfect for us.

Super location, minutes from the beach so its not a problem if you forget something and need to pop back to the apartment!

Pool area is nice, but we actually used the hotel pool next door as it kept our daughter entertained in the kids pool - as long as we bought a couple of drinks they didn't seem to mind.

We had a wonderful holiday and would return.

And I agree...very generous welcome pack.

A lovely apartment, perfectly situated.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in May. It was our first time on holiday without our grownup kids and we had a truly wonderful time! The owners, Phil and Lisa, are so friendly and have recently re-decorated the apartment to a high standard throughout. The apartment is lovely and it is perfectly situated just a few minutes walk away from the beautiful beach and the wide selection of excellent restaurants and shops in Cala D'Or. The complex is quiet and feels very safe and there is a beautiful, pristine pool to cool off in on hot days. While there's plenty to keep you occupied in Cala D'Or we would recommend hiring a car or taking the sea ferry to explore the stunning coastal towns and villages of Majorca if you get the chance. I would definitely recommend Phil and Lisa's lovely apartment to my family and friends.

From the Owner

After years of visiting and searching Cala D'Or, we finally decided on the ideal location to purchase our holiday home. The apartment is situated adjacent to Cala Gran Beach which is a very short 2 minute walk away. A further minute walk gets you into the town centre of Cala D'Or with everything it has to offer. We love this area as it offers the perfect family holiday, with the many small but pristine beaches, the fabulous restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as the marina and children's entertainment areas, but most of all, the wonderful friendly people that just make you want to go back time and time again. Wander the shops, have a coffee in one of the lovely cafes, enjoy fabulous food served by attentive and friendly staff, whilst soaking up the ambience of this truly lovely place.

Nearest Airport : Palma Airport at 65 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Various at 250 Metres Nearest Beach : Cala Gran at 150 Metres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

There are many other activities to enjoy in Majorca - particularly out of the peak summer months. If you have an interest in golf, cycling, walking, or water sports (wind-surfing, etc) then our apartment is available to rent all year round and will provide a very comfortable base for you to stay in whilst you enjoy your activities. We recommend hiring a push-bike, as it's a fabulous way to explore the area.


The apartment is wonderfully positioned between two beaches - Cala Gran and Cala Esmeralda - both within a very short walk of the apartment, albeit in opposite directions to each other. Cala D'Or has more beaches, all very pretty coves which are sheltered, safe and perfect for people of all ages to enjoy - especially families with young children. There are many other beaches within an easy drive of the apartment and Cala D'Or.


You will arrive at Palma Airport. This is approx. a 45 minute drive from Cala D'Or. You can organise your car hire in advance should you wish to drive yourself from the Airport, alternatively, you could use 'Resort Hoppa' for your transfer to resort. There are many taxis once you've arrived at the airport and the average cost of a taxi to Cala d'Or for 4 people is 80 Euros (each way). We can help to arrange a Taxi transfer for you should you wish, please advise asap.


The city of Palma is about 10 minutes drive west of Palma Airport. Palma has many sightseeing attractions, shops and restaurants and a day in Palma is well worth it. The Caves of Drach at Porto Cristo are a 20 minute drive as is nearby Manacor which is famous for its pearl factories. There are dozens of beaches on the eastern coast to visit and one of the best local ones is Cala Mondrago, near Porto Petro.

Further Details:

The apartment is only a 2-3 minute walk from many shops, bars and restaurants. As you enter Cala d'Or from the village of Calonge there is a large supermarket on the right and a petrol station on the left. These are both open all year round. Cala d'Or boasts countless restaurants, bars, shops and boutiques, several banks, hairdressing salons, a tourist office and a police station. From the town center, the marina is a 5 minute walk. Once there, you will find another impressive selection of restaurants all overlooking the boats and yachts moored there, and is well worth a visit.

Changeover Day:
We will try our utmost to accommodate you for your preferred dates, although this is subject to availability. Ordinarily, our guests can access the apartment after 2pm on arrival day but must vacate the apartment by 11am on departure day to allow cleaning & linen change.

Notes on prices:
We would be happy to discuss discounting our prices should you wish to book a stay for a longer period (exceeding 2 weeks).
Bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival are subject to 100% payment at time of booking. You will be sent a booking confirmation detailing your booking, deposit payment received and when the balance will be due. Balances are due for payment 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Please ensure all bags of rubbish are removed and all dishes are cleaned and replaced as the cleaning company we use will charge an additional fee, which will be deducted from your deposit.

There is a Golf course nearby at Vall D'Or, if that's what you like, or rent a car and take a drive up the coast to one of the many beautiful towns and villages nearby.

  • Notes on accommodation: Outside: The large south facing terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and eat meals, as well as soak up some of that wonderful Mediterranean sun. Sun loungers and outdoor furniture are all provided for your comfort, and may be taken to the pool area as long as they are returned to the apartment and not left unattended near the pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Fresh towels and bed linen will be provided for your arrival.
