Notes on accommodation: This villa is in a superb location within walking to all amenities bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, banks, and beaches. Car not essential. Outside: Large terrace area on the ground level with pool, pool bar 2 separate terraces on the upper level complete with sunbeds and washing and drying facilities all terraces are private and not overlooked. Utility Room: On the upper level is a large balcony with washing facilities, washing machine and clothes aired. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: quality towels and linen provided including beach towels. Villa is cleaned and bedding and towels changed after a 7/10 night duration

Lovely villa! A great family holiday in beautiful Cala D'or

Loved the quirkiness of the layout of this villa. The space particularly outside is very impressive and the inside is plenty large enough for four people; as a family of four with two older teenagers, it was perfect. The Villa, in places, is in need of a little updating, but this didn't detract from making it a great place to stay. Most of our time was spent around or in the decent sized pool. The owners representative, Jayne, was lovely, helpful and friendly and communication throughout with her was excellent.

It is in a great location, within very easy walking distance to the Marina and Cala Egos where the restaurants have great choice. The nearest beach is also in Cala Egos and has a nice beach bar.

Overall, a great week in Cala D'or - we would have no hesitation in returning or recommending this villa to others.

What a wonderful stay...

We had a wonderful time in Cala D'Or, four girls seeking a relaxing holiday in the sun. The Villa is close to everything you could need like shops/restaurants, bars and the marina. Accommodation was well presented and had all the amenities needed. Everything was in working order and very clean! The pool was wonderful, with brand new sun loungers which were very comfortable. Jayne was on call whenever we needed her. We would highly recommend and would certainly return!

Lovely private villa!

We've just had a lovely short stay at your villa in Cala D'or, it's definitely ideally situated and minutes walk to the Marina which we went to every night. Jayne was there to meet us she was very helpful and provided a lot of information regarding restaurants, beaches and shops which we found invaluable as we were only there for a few days, and even organised a direct transfer as we didn't want to hire a car.

The villa itself is clean, modern, well maintained with homely comforts! ...the UK TV and wifi was excellent, this villa ticked all the boxes for us! A thoroughly relaxing time during the day was spent lazing round the pool and the evenings exploring the nearby restaurants.

Overall it was perfect for us!

Great area - tired villa

The villa is tired and needs updating, covers on living room settee are filthy, kettle does not work unless you keep hand on lid, toaster does not work, horrible drainage smells from upstairs bathroom, Sun umbrella has a hole in it, lots of broken tiles on patio table with rust on legs, broken tiles around pool area and on surrounding pavement or walkways around pool, one has to be careful when walking around villa, Surrounding area of Cala d'Or is great and accessible,restaurants and supermarket nearby but would never choose to stay in that particular villa again unless it had a serious refurbishment - it was like the owner placed all his old furniture and stuff in villa. Nice rep that arrived on behalf of owner to collect money. She said she would change kettle but we thought it started working again but we were wrong so they need to change it and change Sun umbrella and toaster.

A wonderful base for our holiday which suited us well

The villa was larger internally and externally than we expected and its location was peaceful and private. The layout of the accommodation was well arranged and suited us well with the kitchen area convenient for the dining area and the separate 'snug' sitting area a useful and attractive alternative to the main lounge / tv area. There is ample storage provided for clothing, luggage and possessions, and the beds and seating were comfortable. Communication with Jayne, our hostess, was warm, friendly and helpful and it was good to meet her during our stay.

On the down side, there were a few glitches as a result of this being the first letting of the season, but these were tackled and dealt with immediately and conscientiously by Jayne as soon as we reported them and did not detract from the pleasure of our stay.

The neighbouring semi-wild area was a beautiful bonus as was the presence of a rich local bird life including stone curlew, wryneck, Sardinian warbler, goldfinch, stone chat, etc.

We can recommend this villa as an excellent base from which to explore the local area or from which to reach the marina a short walk away.

Location

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Cala D'or has some wonderful sandy coves, they are all very well maintained and within walking. The closest beach to the villa is D'es Pou this is approx 5/10min walk and has facilities and the glass bottom boat leaves from here. There is a lively mondrago beach which is a 10 min drive away, there is a local bus everyday

Travel:

Palma airport is approx 45 mins away. Car hire is not essential. I can arrange a private transfer to and from the villa this is usually 72€ each way for up to 4 people

Distances:

The beautiful cala dor Marina is minutes walk away, there is a supermarket and lots of restaurants and bars along side the marina with fabulous views of the yachts.

Further Details:

There is an information pack in the villa, with lots of local information and recommended bars and restaurants
