Welcome to apartment Edelweiss in charming Krimml. Krimml is a picture postcard traditional Austrian village situated in Salzburgerland in the national park "Hohe Tauern" in the proximity to the world famous Krimml Waterfalls with its healing powers! The cosy and warm holiday apartment Edelweiss is located in the centre of Krimml but in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the mountains. It is close to all amenities including a well stocked Spar supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars, a bank, a disco/dancing venue as well as the free ski bus stop. It has plenty of parking, however a car is not necessary for your holiday in Krimml. The apartment is 50 m2 and can accommodate 2-6 people. There is a ski storage room on the same floor in the house. It is only a relaxed stroll away from the waterfalls –the highest in Europe and WaterWonderWorld - water theme park - an exciting experience for all ages! Near the apartment you can find a solar heated swimming pool, tennis courts and a mini golf. Relax and unwind amongst the breathtakingly beautiful unspoiled nature. Krimml is perfect for an all year-round holiday. It is ideal for nature lovers of all ages, walking (all levels of difficulty and in all seasons), hiking, rock climbing, Nordic walking, cycling (in Krimml starts the popular “Tauernradweg” – a cycle route through the picturesque Pinzgau valley and further on to Passau), biking, running, swimming (there are crystal clear alpine lakes in the valley) and of course skiing in the Zillertal arena in winter. If you do not ski - not a problem, there are plenty of winter activities to enjoy. All in all Krimml has something for everyone: it is a fantastic place for both sports enthusiasts and those who simply want to relax and enjoy themselves. It is ideal for families with or without children, groups of friends and elderly people alike.

Hello or ‘Grüß Gott’ and welcome to Krimml. We are Iain and Marina Wilson and moved here from England in 2012. We came to Austria on holiday for 10 years as we were attracted by beautiful and unspoilt nature, clean environment, good infrastructure and transport links even in small villages. We love living in Krimml and the fact that every season is enjoyable here. If you love nature, walking and other outdoor activities like we do, this is the place for you. In Krimml there is something for everyone - whether you are a sports enthusiast or just want to relax. Travel:

By air: it is best to fly to Salzburg airport = 145 km away. Then get an 02 Bus to Salzburg main railway station and then take a train to Zell-am-See. From there travel with the Postbus 670 or with the local train (Pinzgauer-lokalbahn ) to Krimml. Innsbruck Airport is 100 km away but less straightforward with public transport. Also Airport transfers can be arranged with a local English speaking taxi company. A car is not necessary as local public transport is good and punctual.
