About the Owner

We bought our casitas because of their beautiful settings. The views over El Chorro and Gualdalhorce Valley are truly beautiful. The changes in the colours as the Sun moves around are magnificent. We have fantastic walks from our doorstep, but we are still only a few minutes drive away from the white washed town of Alora, which is a very traditional Spanish town with many fiestas and other activities all year long.

Our orange grove and vegetable gardens provide us with delicious produce. We encourage our guests to pick our oranges while in season.

Guestbook comments from the manager

"We stayed here for one week in march. We felt very welcome and everything worked out perfectly. We checked in late in the evening and Simon and his wife had even prepared some breakfast for the next morning, very kind! The house was very clean and functional and we used it as our base for rock clinbing in the El Chorro area. The house was conveniently located between the climbing areas and the town Alora. Highly recommended!"

"Simon and Kinga are very humble couple, they try to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible. You had an open ear for us and even made small surprises for us! David and me we enjoyed staying with you so much that we would love to come again. We absolutely fall in love with the beautiful casita naranja and the garden around as well! Thank you a thousand times!"

Clean and well appointed villa in a good location.

  • 4 of 5

The Villa was perfect for our requirements, secluded and peaceful but not far from local amenities. Our hostess was on hand when we arrived with excellent info and left a good welcome pack with particularly delicious homemade marmalade, her communication after booking was perfect. The bedrooms are large, one with comfortable double bed and traditional storage, the second set up as a twin. We found the air conditioning essential due to high temperatures during our holiday. The bathroom is huge and well appointed with towels and basic toiletries, the hot water was reliable all week. The pool is clean, and though not massive was a welcome addition. We made full use of the large patio area, with loungers and table, barbeque etc. No complaints about the facilities.

The local town has all you may require and the locals were friendly.Travel from Malaga airport is straight forward, but beware of sat nav, follow the hostesses directions!.

Relaxing rural retreat

  • 5 of 5

We have just stayed at this lovely villa with beautiful views.

The owners are extremely welcoming and very helpful when needed but at the same time gave us all of the privacy we looked for in a relaxing break.

The homegrown vegetables were a lovely treat.

We will definitely be returning and would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday, with a lot of amenities a few minutes drive away.

une excellente adresse pour ceux qui recherche calme et authenticité

  • 5 of 5
