The property is set on two floors approached via a courtyard. Kitchen, bathroom, utility on the ground floor with open stairs up to main living area, main bedroom with double aspect French doors leading out to secluded garden and patio area.

About Sue Stones

Family run farm, Nigel, Sue and Matt, 2 friendly springer spaniels and a host of other animals! We live in a 40 acre private valley on the edge of the village of Netherbury. We have lived here for seven years, love the location, only a few minutes from Beaminster, ten minutes to West Bay and Bridport.

Why Sue Stones chose Dorset

We have lived here for seven years, love the location, only a few minutes from Beaminster, ten minutes to West Bay and Bridport. It is lovely and peaceful, with a stream running through the grounds, great views, no neighbours, lots of wildlife. We fell in love with the property by pure chance. In fact we were looking for a second home - stumbled across Hope Farm and after spending a couple of years renovating the farm house and cottage. Our son has spent many hours concentrating on landscaping the grounds.

What makes this cottage unique

The main benefit of this property is its location. Only minutes from local shops and pubs and restaurants in Beaminster Square. The market town of Bridport is old fashioned, quirky. People are friendly and is only just down the road. If on the other hand you are seeking a holiday away from the hustle and bustle the property offers peace and seclusion.

We had a lovely holiday. The coach house was beautifully presented and so comfortable. The owners were lovely and friendly and the ducks very entertaining!

Fabulous all round. Lovely log burning stove and very comfy bed. Really friendly reception also.

The cottage was clean, beautifully presented and located amongst beautiful countryside. The owner welcomed us and was very friendly and had lit the wood burner for our arrival which made the cottage very cosy. We woke to ducks and chickens and the patio window, sheep out of the other window and deer in the distance. It was the perfect country retreat.

A wonderful holiday despite the weather!

Beautiful property in a stunning location. We had a very relaxing holiday and enjoyed watching the ducks, squirrels, alpacas and guinea fowl out of the windows. The Coach House is very clean and fitted to a high standard with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Nigel and Sue gave us a warm welcome and recommended lots of local places to visit and eat. We'll be back!

Myself and my wife recently stayed in this 'home from home' for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier. For the record, we spent at least 10 hours of solid searching on owners direct and other websites before settling on this property and i'm happy we did.

The property has a very warm and welcoming character and although we visited in the summer i can imagine it being just as great in the winter with the fire burning e.t.c.

Sue & Nigel who own the accommodation are really wonderful people, they went out of their way to make sure our experience was a good one and you can tell that they really care about the occupants of the property. The coach house is full of little luxuries which show you that this isn't just a business but also a passion for Sue in particular, with lush towels, bedding and other items making you feel extra special. If we could have given the place (and its owners) 6 stars then we would - we'll be back that's for sure.
