2 bedroom recently refurbished apartment in the centre of Rhosneigr. Within easy walking distance (2 minutes) to the beach and shops with stunning views over Rhosneigr bay. Open plan lounge and kitchen with window seat, refurbished in 2014. Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe, seperate drawers, bedside tables and laundry basket. Bunk beds, tall boy and side drawers with small TV (for dvd's only) in room 2. Fully tiled walk in shower with separate sink, WC and storage cupboard. Underfloor/central heating throughout. Enclosed communal grassed area outside, off road parking space. Storage box outside the apartment door.

About Helen Davidson

Helen and Roger have been coming to Rhosneigr for more than 10 years.

We love coming here for the beautiful beaches, the watersports and outdoor activities as well as seeing the friends we have made whilst staying here.

Roger is a watersports enthusiast, enjoying kitesurfing and Stand up paddle boarding in the bay.

Helen enjoys running along the beaches and quiet country lanes, often in the trails in Newborough Forest and out to Llandwyn Island.

Why Helen Davidson chose Rhosneigr

We bought the apartment in 2014 after a long search. We chose this property because of the stunning views across Rhosneigr bay to Rhoscolyn.

The flat is in the centre of the village, within easy walking distance of all the amenities.

We enjoy the convenience of looking out of the window to decide whether to start the day in the water with a surf or paddle board or a run or alternatively more slowly with a short walk down the beach before breakfast in one of the many nearby cafes.

The location also allows a very short walk home at the end of a day on the beach or a night out at one of the pubs, bars or restaurants in the village.

What makes this apartment unique

Breathtaking sunsets over Rhosneigr bay towards Rhoscolyn over Starvation Island. Easy access to two wide sandy beaches within walking distance.

Outside: There is a walled garden at the front of the apartment where children can play provided that they are supervised if they are young. There is off road parking in a private parking area at the rear of the property. A storage box is provided outside of the apartment for toys, wellington boots etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen included. There is a launderette close by in the village. For longer stays additional cleaning and towels can be offered mid-stay at a reasonable additional cost if required. Other: Hallway with lots of hooks for coats. Accessibility: Steps lead up to the apartment from the parking spaces. There are three steps up the the apartment from ground floor level.

Lovely and comfortable apartment with fabulous sea view.

My Husband and I travelled to Anglesey with ourJack Russell, and couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay. Just minuites from a fabulous beach, which we walked on every morning. We love bird watching , and took our Binoculars out with us and found plenty to watch. Seeing the plane's taking off from RAF Valley, was also amusing!

Rhosneigr is also lovely, however it's worth noting that most of the village was closed up for winter during our stay. We had a lovely dinner at The Oystercatcher just out of town, and the fish and chips from the chip shop in the village were some of the best we've ever had (they even gave us an extra bit for the dog!).

Great contact from the owner, and a fast return of my deposit, much appreciated.

All in all, a great short break, would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous spot very close to Beach

Lovely Apartment just 2mins walk away from a super dog friendly beach.

Very well presented, equipped and maintained, modern, clean and accessible apartment. Comfortable bed with plenty of storage. Would definitely recommend. It's conveniently placed to visit other beaches and there are fantastic walks and parkland on the doorstep or a short drive away. Convenience shop couple of doors down the road for those catering for themselves and a couple bistros and eateries if you want to eat out. Peaceful area (in October) not a touristic area this is a village that has made an effort to offer hospitality services to locals and holiday makers alike. There were a few surfers out so this is obviously a place you could surf or imply just walk on the beach & relax ( which is what we did) The apartment has a lovely view from window. We really enjoyed our stay.

cosy appartment with amazing view!

Cant rave about this appartment and area enough! Firstly the owners were very friendly and easy to contact and gave us a lot of important info about the appartment and the area.The appartment has a modern and cosy feel,a real home from home!.The double bed and sheets were high class and we slept very well.The view from the living room window is quite outstanding to say the least! We spent a lot of time watching the waves crashing on the sand, cite surfers in the sea and watching the sun set.We went for a lovely walk along the beach in the mornings were there was a lot of dog walkers and people about.The area is fantastic and has a few shops and some lovely resturants were the staff were so welcoming and couldnt do enough for you.The Oyster Catcher just 10 mins walk out of the village was our favourite resturant! The food is very fresh and quality. The area is a good base to get to other areas in Anglesey for day trips. Other towns and big food shops are only 15-30 mins drive away.We would definitely go back in the summer time one year! Thankyou for letting us stay!

Beach within 2 minute's walk

Travel:

Trains stop on request at Rhosneigr station. Close to the port of Holyhead and easily accessible from the A55.

Further Details:

Rhosneigr is a thriving village including 2 convenience shops within easy walking distance of the apartment and the Y Morfa and Glan Neigr pubs. There are numerous cafes including the Surf Cafe, Mojo's creperie and Chaplins ice cream parlour. Restaurants include Sandy's, Sullivan's The Sandymount and the nearby Oystercatcher with Will's Bar for evening entertainment.

Watersports equipment can be hired from Funsport including kayaks and stand up paddle boards. They also provide lessons in windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and SUPing. The Anglesey Sea Zoo and beautiful wooded beach walks at Newborough are within close driving distance.
